Buyer Beware Ice Maker

I had to unplug it and wait 10 days for a replacement. I had no fridge, ice or water for 10 days and no one at Best Buy seemed to care.

It’s wonderful with so many features. The ice maker is quiet, the deli and produce compartments keep food fresh longer and it’s spacious. The delivery men set everything up beautifully. I highly recommend.

This product was rated 4 star yet I am slightly disappointed. As for Best Buy, the delivery was very quick, within 4days. The customer service in store and via the Total Tech team is superior to a HD or Lowes. But on the product, itself, I found the main shelves within are fixed meaning I can’t alter the height of shelves to give better spacing between shelves as other brands offer. Door shelving are heavy duty plastic and inserted over built in grooves in the door by pushing them behind the grooves and then down. With that, be careful its sturdy or properly seated before adding items in the shelf. Not as sturdy as other brands. The ice-maker stopped delivering ice after 10days. There's a humming sound often heard when freezer or fridge doors are opened and during normal operation. Seems compressor runs more frequently than other brands. On a good note, beautiful looking side-by-side with smudge proof stainless steel doors. It has a 10yr Comfort Pledge warranty on heat ex-changer/compressor when purchase is registered with Frigidaire. It came w/standard water filter and lastly, 25.6 is a nice size unit. I would give it a 3-star thus far.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wrote a review two months after we bought this piece of crap, and now I am here to give you our update, conveniently, right after our one-year warranty, expired. Our refrigerator is currently having a major malfunction of the control panel, which happens to be one of the most expensive repairs to have on the refrigerator. It’s also a Sunday, so there’s no repair people in San Antonio that are working. This means that I’m going to be hearing this incessant beeping and cycling on the control panel all night until I can get somebody out here tomorrow. It is no wonder that Frigidaire quit making this piece of crap soon after it was put out.

Can't get it delivered unbroken or damaged

It was attractive because it would go well with my kitchen and was a decent size. However, 7 attempts later, I can't get one delivered without damage or broken parts. This isn't the store's fault entirely. Several of the damaged fridges came under a pristine box and wrapping. This is a manufacturer issue where there is no quality control.
