    Nothing but freezer problems

    The design in theory of the fridge is great. But, it has given me nothing but issues since I purchased it in 2014. I have had to have the freezer repaired on four occasions. Usually during the holiday season. Every thanksgiving I have had issues with the freezer not cooling since buying it. I have lost lots of food and was never compensated. I read good reviews on this fridge, but the freezer has been a deal breaker. The ice maker leaks water from the inlet tube both of which have been replaced multiple times to no avail. I have a mini fridge that is better quality than this fridge. The fridge portion has usually been OK, except when the freezer gets really bad then the fridge portion usually follows suit. The plastic bumpers on the freezer also fall off constantly.

    I bought first a LG refrigerator and I returned two days later, I decided to go for an American Company like Frigidaire . This refrigerator has style and quality. Very happy with it.

    This is my 2nd Frigidaire and they have been very good to me. So much storage, I am very pleased with the purchase and I believe I will probably only own Frigidaire's from now on.

    I only had this refrigerator for 6 days and it is already malfunctioning. The first day it came it had some scratches on the plastic that covers the hinge. It was minor, and I was willing to overlook it, but then all week, the ice maker goes off every 20 minutes or so and it is LOUD as all outdoors. It only lasts for about 3-5 seconds, and I would have tolerated that. However, TODAY, after less than a week, the temperature keeps fluctuating on both refrigerator and the freezer, without even being tampered with, so my fridge stays around 28 degrees (colder than the freezer). It has already frozen the food in the fridge, and the freezer is doing it's own thing too, but at least it's staying cold. Furthermore, when I try to adjust it back, it only stays at the new adjusted temperature for about 5 minutes, then it declines back on down to below freezing again. I am calling best buy first thing in the morning to return this piece of junk! Do NOT BUY. Luckily, I saved my KENMORE and put it in the garage. I bought it in November 2003, and have had NO PROBLEMS with it whatsoever. I only replaced it to update my appliances. Frigidaire only gets one chance with me.

    Horrible fridge. The bad reviews are real

    I liked the look and features of this fridge. It was delivered professionally and I was very happy with the delivery guys. It looked great. I regret buying this fridge. The few negative reviews are real. We have had it about 4 months now. The ice clogs in the dispenser EVERY TIME we use it. Sometimes it gives crushed instead of cubed for no reason. After a couple of weeks the fridge started becoming extremely loud. We can hear it constantly from the other room. Two months into owning this fridge a freezer door shelf broke. Now the glass shelf with the large drawer is broken on the plastic part that holds the shelf. I usually own fridges for 10 plus years and have never had one so horrible. This was the first big purchase my husband and I made together and it was a waste of money. I have never left a review on a big purchase item before but I don't want other people to make my mistake. There are only 2 adults in this house using this. We aren't rough on the fridge.

    Serious temperature control issues

    I've owned this fridge for a month now, and have had Geek Squad out to my house 2 times. The refrigerator side is set to 37 degrees, and everything in it is frozen. The water line froze, and as such I now have no ice either. The first time they came out to fix it they put a new motor in on the little door that keeps the cold air shut in the freezer. It worked for a week, and then it had the same problems again. This time they're going to try a new thermostat. On a 1 month old fridge. If this doesn't work I'll be exchanging this one for a different brand. I only got Frigidaire because the rest of the appliances in my kitchen are that brand. Best Buy has been awesome fixing the issues, but I'd really like my brand new house to have a brand new fridge that didn't freeze everything in it solid.

    Noisiest refrigerator we've ever owned. Told by the service tec, who was a great guy, that's refrigerant noise and that's how frigidaires are. Ice maker needs some redesign work. All at once you get two glasses worth of ice, most of it ending up on the floor. First and last Frigidaire for us.

    The water is not chilled in the refrigerator. The ice maker jams and you end up with ice on the floor. The water dispenser spout does not align with standard cups & water bottles. The drawers stick & are noisy when pulled out. The storage in the doore is not efficient. The only quality I find positive is the smudge proof doors.

    This refrigerator has been a nightmare, and Frigidaire does not seem to care. It is only a year old, and the freezer has completely stopped working three times. We have had to go without a freezer and go through the hassle of repairs, and now it has stopped working again, and the warranty is expired,so even though the refrigerator is clearly defective,we are stuck going without a freezer and paying repair bills. We have a $400 extra no frills refrigerator that we have owned for 10 years wothout a single problem. The water and ice dispenser is really awkward too,so we end up with ice or water spewing out at us whenever it is actually working. Terrible product!

    For the most part, it is fine. However I just had a repair man tell me that my two year old fridge needs a $300 valve replacement. Also, the shelves and drawers don't fit properly in the fridge and are constantly falling.

    Purchased brand new, VERY poor ice production (only 2 people in house, out of town for 4 days & it never filled up and ran out of ice today) ice chute flap doesn't close properly and warm air gets inside freezer....ices and frosts interior. Got replacement refrigerator and exact same things is happening. Something is wrong with the design. Returning this item and going back to GE.

    The ice maker chute is too small and cubes get caught either dumping all at once or getting stuck causing an error. more ice hits the floor than gets used

    Bought this fridge about 2 years ago, now the fridge part doesn't cool and the freezer part isn't keeping food frozen either. Needed to replace parts, about $250.00 after a 10% discount, plus labor. They charged my card without ever placing the order, a week later, they put the order in, and another week to get someone they contract with to install. I suggest you do a little research before you put over a thousand bucks in a product that wouldn't last, buy the extended warranty or just get a cheap one.

    what I like is the finish. what I don't like is one shelf and drawer in regrigerator are unusable because anything near them freezes (inspite of lowering temperature) One pullout drawer in freezer is unusable because it is too small and falls off the track but the absolute worse is the ice cube jam 50% of the time - Why did I buy Frigidare?

    We received ours with an error message indicating a broken fan or circuit board. BB tells us it takes 1 week plus to get a repair or replacement. So, one star for the fridge and one star for Best Buy.
