    The 1 year warranty just expired and I already need to get it serviced. I will be definitely looking at other brands whenever I need to purchase a fridge again. Really disappointed.

    Tiny ice cubes. Water that comes out of the door is warm. Doors are uneven. Never buy this brand again. Junk!

    I love the concept of the door in door for my kids. Some people complain about door not shutting properly but as long as you shut left door first there is no problem and shutting the door in door you just have to make sure it grabs. No issues there. These are the problems I do have (4 month old fridge btw): The ice maker has only made ice maybe twice since purchase. Not only does ice maker not make ice but has now decided that water will pour out of door ice dispenser onto floor in puddles and into the only area of entire fridge that works, the freezer, where it has frozen into ice inside. The refrigerator part has decided not to work anymore. Although the fridge door says it is 33 degrees and according to lady at LG saying it is working fine after running her over the phone diagnostic the thermometer we put inside after all our food went bad read 70 degrees. As if that is not enough to determine this is not a good purchase I would tell you that I recommend not buying any LG product after the four days of nonstop dealing with their customer service. I was given a service date, after calling because no one showed they said I never had an appointment. I was told they would call with new appointment and never did. When I called to find out what was going on I was rudely hung up on. After finally getting through to a supervisor I have been told I have an appointment a week out from today giving me two full weeks without a refrigerator claiming they will have have all necessary parts to fix my fridge. I think it odd they know what will be needing since anyone has yet to do anything other than speak to my husband and I over the phone. If my fridge is deemed unable to be fixed they will put in a request for a replacement although I have been told there is no guarantee since the warranty only provides service.

    This refrigerator is junk. We bought this to match the rest of our frigidaire gallery appliances but had to exchange it because it was scratched, the doors were lopsided, the water wouldn't dispense and the ice maker didn't work. We were told to replace the water filter and the new filter also didn't work. The second one was delivered yesterday, this time the water is coming out super slow and warm. The ice maker has yet to make a full glass of ice after more than 24 hours. Extremely unsatified.

      Oh no! KJoey, your refrigerator’s water supply system includes several tubing lines, a water filter, and a water valve. To ensure that your water dispenser and ice maker work properly, this system must be completely filled with water when your refrigerator is first connected to the household water supply line. Please see “Priming the Water Supply System” on page 20 in your Owner’s Manual for instructions and more information. After the refrigerator is installed properly and has cooled for several hours, the ice maker can produce ice within 24 hours. It can completely fill an ice bin in about two days. Ice is produced at a rate of 8 cubes every 75 to 90 minutes. Some models (like yours) are designed without a water tank, these water dispensing systems are not designed to chill water. For colder water add ice to cup or container before dispensing water (page 28 in your Owner’s Manual). I hope this helped! *Ruth Frigidaire

    Bought it in December 2019. Performed as expected for the first 4 months. It then stopped cooling forcing the relocation of food to garage. By the time technician showed it was cooling again and he found no problem. Same happened again a month later so technician ordered replacement control board. It's been fine since, however, I still keep a remote thermometer in it for monitoring temperature.

    bought inNov 2013 Had repair people come to house and replaced parts with the ice maker they told me that Frigidaire was having a problem with there ice makers I called the warranty company numerous times said it wasn't making ice never fixed it properly Fast forward march 2019 the refrigerator isn't fixable paid close to 3000 dollars for this not a single scratch still looks brand new they knew they had this problem and never contacted the customers there should of been a recall on this product they offered me 20percent off on a new one and I have 30 days to take it I saved for this for year where do they think I can come up with this money in 30 days another example of corporate greed they should honor there product and replace this they knew there was a problem and pushed it under the carpet I am very upset over this the service man told me my refrigerator is on life support right know Please do not buy a Frigidaire product they are not an honorable company I have a business and we honor our work and I do not make the kind of money they do

    Do Not Buy

    The fact that we are writing this review should be enough to stop anyone from ever purchasing another Frigidaire refrigerator because we NEVER write negative reviews. We hope this review will prevent others from suffering through the same trials and tribulations we’re experiencing as follows: January 2021 purchased new refrigerator and early May it stopped working with error message and beeping. Called Frigidaire and told to unplug refrigerator for 30 seconds. Seemed to fix error message and beeping stopped. 5/10 realized everything was defrosted in freezer (had to throw everything away) and called Frigidaire. Service appointment scheduled for 5/18 5/18- Technician came out to the house but didn’t have the parts he needed, so parts were ordered and technician rescheduled for 5/28. 5/28 Technician came back to the house and seemed to fix the problem with the new parts (we went almost an entire month without a working refrigerator) 7/27 realized everything in freezer was defrosted (had to throw everything away again) and called Frigidaire for another appointment. We were told a contracted technician would come out on 8/2. We also inquired about replacing the refrigerator and we were told that the refrigerator has to break 3 times in the first year or be deemed unrepairable. 7/28 received message from contracted technician that they actually don’t have any appointments available for 8/2. Based on our description of the problem they went ahead and ordered several parts and said they would schedule the service once the parts arrived. 8/9 contracted technician comes to house and replaces ordered parts 8/10 refrigerator clearly isn’t fixed so we called them back. New appointment scheduled for 8/19 with a “seal system” technician which is a specialist 8/11 call Frigidaire again to inquire about getting a new refrigerator. This time we are told that the 3 strikes you’re out rule isn’t true and that we will continue to be stuck with this refrigerator unless it is deemed unrepairable within the first year of purchase. 8/13 Writing this review 8/19 hopefully they will fix it, at which point we will be over 3 weeks without a working refrigerator for the 2nd time within the first 6 months of purchase Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase a Frigidaire refrigerator. Their quality has clearly declined and their customer service is terrible.

    Better purchase that extended warranty . . .

    We purchased this refrigerator in 2016 and have had to replace the ice maker twice; the auger once; and it is currently leaking refrigerant. While it was under its initial warranty, Electrolux, the parent company, was fairly good about sending out technicians; they came often; though, those associated with the extended warranty seem incapable of doing their jobs. Their company, A&E, here in Santa Cruz County, associated with Sears (need I say more about this moribund company?), have made seral visits and have continued to fail the repair work. Also, getting that repair work is not straightforward. Rather, one has to call Electrolux and have them send a repair request to their secondary people, which may take several days. Then, the repair people, straight from the former Soviet Union, in terms of bureaucracy, have to process that same request. The latest also includes the fading of the electronic display and the imminent loss of several hundred dollars of seafood . . . The fridge is also proudly made in Mexico, with substandard -- shrinking --insulation, which is incapsulated and impossible to replace . . .
