This was listed as an "open box excellent" refrigerator. When I went to install the refrigerator I found that the freezer drawer only opened half way and when I checked with Frigidaire was informed that this was a used refrigerator with expired warranty that was over a year old and had already had compressor and ice maker issues. I'm very disappointed in Best Buy's description of this refrigerator. Returned for a full refund.

This was my second Frigidaire refrigerator. I loved the look and the design of the refrigerator, however, I got the first one in July and the icemaker started leaking. Had gieek squad repair it and it started doing the same thing the next day. Got the second one and it leaked in the same area from the icemaker. I finally return that one and bought a different brand.

Horrible! Probably the worst refrigerator invented with the ice maker which will break in about 3-6 months and then it’s all down hill from there. In about a year you will need a new refrigerator!

I never thought that a fridge would make such a difference in my kitchen. But after nearly a year, I am still so happy with pretty much all aspects of this model. We wanted to have stainless steel, but our previous experience with the smudges on stainless made us reconsider. Then we found the Frigidaire Gallery with smudge-free stainless! We have two young kids at our house and they find ways to leave fingerprints and grease marks on the surface, but they just wipe right off with water. I have yet to use a cleaning agent on the stainless parts of this fridge and it still looks brand new. Also, can you say magnetic stainless? Because this fridge is magnetic! The space in both the fridge and the freezer seems almost impossible to fill. There are so many different ways to set up the shelfs and drawers, you can configure it for whatever works best for you. The LED lighting makes it super easy to find anything in there, too. I am a huge fan of the large drawer in the bottom of the fridge. We normally put fruits and snacks in it, since the kids can easily reach it. But a few weeks ago, we stuck a large catering tray full of meats in it without even batting an eye. We have not had any problems with the ice and water dispenser, as so many others have reported. I like how easy it is to switch between ice and water. The automatic light on the dispenser is also really nice feature. I would highly recommend this to anyone that can fit it in their kitchen. Just make sure to measure your doorway to make sure the delivery team can get it into your house. We had to take the patio doors off the back of our house and the poor delivery guys had to carry the fridge around the house to the back yard. I have no regrets with purchasing this fridge and I would definitely buy it again, if I had to do it over.

I purchased this Frigidaire in 2015 and have had to fix twice. The first time was a $150 circuit board and my refrigerator went out again last weekend. DO NOT BUY this brand unless you own a parts store

Fridge stopped working and repair guy said it would cost $700-$1000 to fix. He believes it's not worth the repair. Called and company only offers 1 year warranty. $1800 thrown away. Don't buy a Frigidaire fridge.

Do not buy this. We purchased the whole line, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave. They have all been garbage from day 1.

We ordered the entire kitchen package and each item had something wrong with it. We returned everything over two weeks ago and we are still waiting for our credit.

I like the size and model, but it doesn"t work efficiently and has a lot of problems.

We started with the counter depth style of this same fridge[Gallery series] and I checked the next day after delivery if it went on sale , it did not but I noticed the same fridge but 5 cubic feet bigger was on sale for 200.00 dollars less so we were in our 14 day return window and went with this model instead and we are glad we did,the ice maker is much bigger the freezer is almost 2 cubic ft bigger everything is much better[quieter, more ice more capacity] so skip the counter depth[22.5 cubic ft] and go with the 27.5 cubic ft.unit you will be happy.

When we went looking at refrigerators, we didn't want a side by side since they don't seem to fit as much stuff. We had a top and bottom model and loved the new French Door models. It was between this and the similar Samsung model. We decided the Frigidaire was the better of the two so we ordered it. We love it. Lots of space and I love the LED lighting inside. One nitpick is the ice maker. It works perfectly fine, but seems slow. We don't use a lot of ice but I can see having to buy a bag of ice for a party because this thing wouldn't make it near fast enough. it doesn't really bother us, but some people might want to look at the Samsung since it has a better (according to reviews# ice maker. I'm not sure why some people are complaining about how loud the fridge seems. I can barely hear it except when filling the ice maker and when the ice drops #which is LOUD). Other than that, it's whisper quiet. And one more minor thing. The water that comes out of the dispenser isn't cold. Let's say it's cool water. A little above room temp. Maybe it's a setting I'm overlooking, but every other door-dispensed water I've ever tasted has been noticeably cold. No big deal but I like it cold.

I have had this fridge for about 6 months and have already had 2 service calls on the ice maker, it has been replaced entirely and still does not dispense ice. I am now waiting for the third service call. The fridge is quite large with plenty of storage (potentially too much for many families.) I read the reviews and assumed the ice maker complaints were nay sayers. Nots so. Should have listened to the many other complaints on the ice maker. Other than the ice maker, it keeps the food cold like it should so no complaints there.

I purchased this frig in Feb 2014 since then I have had the pleasure of living with the biggest piece of junk. The ice maker froze up and has been humming unbelievable loud. I have had it fix twice, the last time a week ago. So I'm writing this review because I woke up to the same problems yesterday, less than one week from the recent repair. I haven't had any ice made in 2 months. This is the biggest waste of money and Im sure Geek Squad will be out to my house again after this fix. I contacted Best Buy which advised they will just continue to fix the problem until it is fixed. I asked about when the refrigerator is out of warranty, which they advised that hopefully we will be able to fi it prior to then. Its been 3 months and this is the third service call. The temp on the frig says 37 degrees, but I have a thermometer in the frig that says 43 degrees. I wish someone would take responsibility for this piece of junk. I paid $2000, and I deserve a frig that works. Hopefully you have better luck than I am if you buy this junk.

may I suggest you ask the salesman who you call when you have a problem with this refrigerator. Then call the number. Good luck. My ice maker in this fridge stopped working within two months. I have called the warranty number three times now. Over a one week period, I have been told two different outfits would come fix. No calls. No shows. Sit and wait and call again. I will not buy another Frigidair product again and I wish I could get my money back out of this one.

I have loved this refrigerator. Many of the shelves are movable and the crispers move as well so I have put them both in the left side since we go in those less frequently. It's nice to have the dispenser in the door so my family doesn't open the fridge everytime they need a glass of water. The airfilter works great so my fridge doesn't stink, ever. My favorite feature is that the stainless steel is "smudge-proof" so I don't have to clean it everyday to have it looking great. I can have my son clean his sticky-finger mess up without pulling out the stainless steel cleaner! The only thing I don't like is that the digital display is green unlike some other brands that have blue or white which I personally prefer. Also, Best Buy took 7 days to be able to deliver the refrigerator. Fortunately I was upgrading, but if my refrigerator had failed I probably would not have waited 7 days to get the product.

We are very happy with this fridge. The size is the best I have seen outside of commercial units. Very easy to lay out and also to find things front to back. The freezer has great space and easy to organize. Now, that being said, huge fridge and tiny and VERY slow ice maker. You would figure with a fridge this big they would expect it would go to a big family, which equals lots of ice usage. However, there is a spot in the lower freezer to put a second ice maker. I HIGHLY recommend you purchase that second ice maker. The ice maker in the fridge only produces a few pounds of ice in a 24 hour period and that is what they say it will do in the instructions that came with it.

I have found nothing about my fridge that I don't love. There is tons of room and it works extremely well. I can put the shelves and drawers anywhere I wish. I have more usable fridge and freezer space than I did in my old side by side. I've had it for 2 weeks and totally adore it. It maintains its temperatures well and was very quick to come down to temperature. I am very happy with my purchase!
