    First electric range

My husband and I made the huge decission to move from gas stove to electric for climate protection. I had so many misgivings about cooking when I couldn't see the flame. What i have discovered with this particular Frigidaire range is that the top somehow heats items faster. Water boils faster! One disadvantage for me is placement of the range heating elements. The right front is very large. The left front automatically front heats the bridge used in using a larger grill. When I cook, I prefer to put large pots to the back, especially if they need to simmer. The smaller burners I find safer to use towards the front for items that need more stirring. Either I use more energy than needed (with the automatic bridge) or I need to use a large pot for something that would be better in a smaller container. The stove top is flat so fewer places to clean, but everything shows on this top so we keep a spray and cloth right by the stove now. This particular model also has a convection oven as well as the traditional electric one. What I love is that the controls for convection include a conversion of temperature for the convection. No guesswork. I've gone on a baking, air frying binge and so far everything's turned out perfectly and on time. The stove is fine, but the placement of range heating elements is a drawback.

I like this stove so far. It has alot of features my old stove did not have. I really like that if you leave a burner on the knob will stay light which will visually remind you that you left it on. What I don't like.... it seems some sauce pans can only be used on the smaller burners in the back... a big reach. Also, the oven is huge, so the door is too, which means for a petite person like myself I have to be very careful when removing something from the hot oven..

The Best Range! Everything about it is excellent. Clean up has been a breeze. Tjhe pre heat for the oven takes lot less time then my previous oven. My household is so impressed with this range. This oven is huge, can't wait for Thanksgiving to cook all the goodies.

The Frigidaire Gallery 6.2 cu ft Electric Range delivers strong value with cutting-edge features like Total Convection, Air Fry, and steam bake. For users looking to supercharge their cooking versatility in one appliance, it’s a compelling pick—with mostly positive reviews from verified purchasers. Just be mindful of its knob placement sensitivity and drawer limitations, and consider using an oven thermometer if precision matters

Great stove. The only negative is the top has to be cleaned, but even that is easy. Love the stove and the best Buy price.

Beautiful range, but a few things they could improve on it. 1) the storage drawer is very slim - not a lot of room. 2) the cook top dials have a light behind them that makes it nearly impossible to read the setting. Had to construct a sort of 'hood' over them to deflect the light. A known problem from what I've read online. 3) there is no cooktop indicator of which burner is on. You have to rely on the lighted dial alone. 4) that means that even though the burn may still be hot, it doesn't tell you which burner is still hot. only that one is hot. Otherwise, it is efficient and this model has a 'bridge' so you can use a griddle pan -- but it doesn't make it clear how to use the bridge. Oven works very well. 5) there is no way to purchase anything to fill in the gaps like they have with other models. I had to use silicone strips (from Amazon) - but otherwise it was a good fit in all dimensions.

Lots of great features on this oven. Convection cooking is a game changer. I am having to get used to having knobs on the front but it gets better with use. I have not used the cleaning feature yet but believe it will work as well as the other features.

Good Buy - The Design Could be Better

The good: built in air fryer! Oven setting if you're not comfortable with convection. Looks pretty! Boils water on the cooktop fast! The bad: The oven connector is a bad design. The back of the oven doesn't flush up against the kitchen wall because the power outlet in my house is not built into the wall. Like many other homes the outlet is installed outside of the wall. So the oven doesn't align with counter top, it comes out about a half inch. Also the bottom drawer is flimsy and can only hold about 1 pan and a flat air fry rack.

This range is very pretty and cooks evenly. I can't wait to use the air-fry feature! But...be sure to measure unit before installing b/c Frigidaire units seem to be somewhat shorter than other brands, even after height adjustment is made. ::: In order to raise unit to make it flush with countertop, an extra piece of laminate flooring was installed underneath. Also, if you are switching from a built-in to this slide-in, the unit will jut out a bit. Lastly, the lighting on the dials are angled so that it's a bit hard to read.

Superior to to old style ceramic cooktops

The sale price makes this a tremendous value. The induction cooktop system is far superior than ceramic cooktops. Its much easier to clean and cooks at more even temperature. May need to upgrade your pans ( if a magnet wont stick to bottom of pan the induction heating will not work properly)

I am so pleased with this stove. I had bought another brand 3 years ago and after a multiple of problems I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new one. I researched to several months and decided on this one. It has not disappointed.

Why is ceramic so hard to keep clean

Pros- Cooks well, like the no preheat option, like that stovetop can’t drip onto oven door. Cons- if the stovetop is on and the element is red, it is hard to clean if grease gets on it while you’re cooking, leaves behind a big stain that is nearly impossible to remove. The touch pad is either to sensitive of doesn’t work. The knobs are easy to turn on when reaching over the stove, when not trying to push I find myself hitting them a lot. I don’t like how hard it is to clean when grease comes out. The front part where the knobs are leaves streaks bad and so does the stovetop. You would think in 20 years they would make an easier to clean ceramic surface.

Good range. I wish it came with a third rack and I'm having a devil of a time finding a replacement but it's a decent range to have in a home for personal use. I have mixed feelings about the touch control pad's location. I'm girthy around the midsection and I regularly bump into it when working in and around the stovetop. This is where the back panel is a better placement than the front of the stove above the door handle.

I can’t really review the stove since it was never delivered. I waited over a month and the stove delivered 3 times and each time it was damaged! All Best Buy offered was a gift card, but they wouldn’t give me that until the stove was actually delivered, which it never was. After the 3rd damaged stove I got my money back and went to Lowe’s. They delivered a perfect stove within 3 days! Shop at Best Buy at your own risk. You’ve been warned! I did recommend this stove but that was from the stove I received from Lowe’s.

My stove was on its way out and another brand. I chose this stove based on options, size and all the little extras it offered. Absolutely love this stove. I especially love the size and sleekness of the look. Burners heat up quick and cool just as quick. Touchpad temperatures, cook type and timer are awesome.

Backlit knobs are difficult to read but can be fixed with lightdims stickers. Oven functions are great. Quiet and fast. Stovetop elements are fast and good. FR burner is fast but single size even though it appears to be multi-size. I do wish it was wifi optional.
