Don't use the broiler
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The broiler kills the knobs; it might have damaged -melted - some plastic parts and cause some problems when you adjust flame level (harder to turn as if something stuck and jammed)

Excellent Range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My new house oven from the builder broke within 4 years of ownership. Needless to say, I bought a new one! The variety of burners is excellent and the high heat ones can really get water boiling fast. The center burner I haven't found usefull except for parties when we run out of catering space, the center burner on the oven makes a good warmer. The oven cooks well and evenly. I have used the quick bake(convection) and it does cook faster. I have cooked a frozen pizza in 19 min without preheating usually takes 25 min. The bottom rack attaches to the oven door and will automatically pull out about 4 inches or so which makes grabing cook wear easy and not so hard on the back, like thanksgiving turkeys. The broiler works well too and it broils fast. After I boil itialian sausage, I put it in the broiler for 5 min on each side to brown them. My old oven had to broil for 8 to 10 min on each side. The big window is nice to have, my old oven had a small one. I never thought a window would make a difference, but when you see your pizza cooking and not have to open the door, saves on the cooking time and gas bill. The oven light is bright and there is some sort of glow that comes from the oven when it is on. I didn't notice anything like this from my old one. It is a nice though, because if you forget to turn it off, you will notice it when you walk past it. The push button controls are easy to use. Best Buy delivered the unit 7 days after purchase and took my old one for recycling at no extra charge. The delivery team was professional and courteous. I hooked the unit up myself. I have owned this unit for 8 months now.

What an upgrade!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an upgrade from the cheapie that came with this house ten years ago. I didn't know how just how little control I had until I got good range. Different size burners what a plus! I can simmer slowly or boil fast. The convection over is a dream to use and it is electronic set and hold, which means food cooks on time and very uniformly. I don't guess and constantly open the door to check progress. Overall a quality purchase.

the best gas stove I ever had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never liked or trusted gas stoves, but having no choice but to go for a gas model, really impressed with this one! It looks expensive, and bakes my cakes like no other oven before. Love the slide out shelf, and the drawer space it has. So easy to clean. It's stainless steel and is no problem to keep new looking with just a wipe! My other appliances, by another company, in stainless, look awful and are so hard to keep clean. This oven by Frigidaire is the best thing ever! I love it!

Love the Center Grill, use it all the time!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this stove. I love the 5 burners, the quick boil feature and simmer burner. I have only tried the convection or quick bake part of the stove once so far. It didn't bake real even, but I blame it on my cookie sheets were not uniform in type. I love the 3 baking racks and the option to have one rack come out automatically when you open the oven door. Regular baking the cookies are baked very evenly. The center grill I've used for eggs, pancakes, steaks, hamburgers, even bacon, though there is not a lot of room for grease on the grill, there is a slight indentation to help contain the grease. It has been easy to clean. Simple to operate. I thought the stainless would be hard to keep clean, it has been good, but I don't have children at home that might leave fingerprints. This replaced a 1968 stove, so the burner strength was increased almost 2 fold on the main big burner, it cooks fast! It does take a little getting used to because it is more powerful.

Love Love Love My Stove!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stove looks wonderful in my kitchen! I haven't tried the convection part yet, but so far everything works as it's supposed to. I love having the 5th burner with the optional grill. Mine was delivered with stainless steel knobs rather than the black ones and I'm really thrilled about that! I can't wait to cook a really big meal on it and have folks over. But with just the small cooking I've done so far, it's great! One thing though...it has a lot of oven racks, certainly more than I need. That's different. :)

Excellent Gas Stove!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I fell in love at first turn of the burner knob. Wow! I was able to cook my usual dinner in half the start up time, and it cooks very smoothly. I love the look, the feel, the five burners with the additional grill. The oven rocks! And it looks very fine next to my new Frigidaire Gallery Fridge. Buy it, you'll like it. At this price point, how can it get any better. Best Buy will make sure you are taken care of from point of sale to delivery with a smile.

Everything I want in a gas range!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gas range has all the features that I was looking for. Wonderful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great range at a great price! Similar ranges from different brands cost at least $300 more. At first I thought to invest more money and buy a more expensive brand, but went with this range which was on sale at Best Buy for $699!! I'm really glad I did. Works great!! My husband is a private chef and worked with various ranges (he originally wanted to buy a Vicking!), he LOVES this range. He said it really works like a professional stove. It has various strength burners, which is great for making sauces and cooking something on high heat. The oven works really well too. Great range at a great price!

Seems to have been a good choice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had decided on a Samsung refrigerator and dishwasher when shopping for new appliances. We found out that Samsung only makes an electric stove and we wanted a gas stove so we chose this one. We have only had this for about one month and there are a lot of the features that I haven't used yet but we have no complaints so far. We especially like the two large burners that will boil liquids much quicker than we had expected. We also love how quickly the oven preheats. A couple of things that we haven't quite figured out are the quick bake feature and how/when to use it, also there is a rack attached to the door so that when you open the door the rack slides forward to make it easier to move food around. There are a lot of racks that come with the stove, more than needed which is a slight inconvenience when you are cooking large items because you will have to keep a rack out of the oven for cooking. Overall we have felt this stove has been a good value for the money.

Best choice in this price range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After one month, I decided to run the self-cleaning feature. While it did work to clean the few spots on the oven walls, it created two issues. First, the oven light would no longer shut off, even when the oven was unplugged and plugged back in, the light always came back on. Second, the quick bake fan would no longer run. Best Buy replaced the unit quickly. I'm planning to just clean the oven the old fashioned way. The smell during the self-cleaning cycle was pretty noxious anyway, even with a couple of windows open. I do really like the power burners. Boiling water for pasta is much faster than on my old stove. The cast iron griddle for the center burner is great (make sure you season it according to the directions). Having continuous burners on top makes it easy to sit something hot from the oven on them. Oven window is large and the slide out rack on the lower level is kind of nice.

Cooks faster and more evenly.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this range. The convection option is great and really does cook faster when needed. The grates on top stay in place its so nice having the option to move pan elsewhere by sliding pan across. When door is open light automatically comes on. Buttons for oven are easy to read (understand) and simple. I also love that there a full burner in the center that comes with the griddle option that can be switched if extra pan space is need. Its also easier to place cutting board on top if needed.

Great range- exceeded expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this oven range after many weeks of searching on the web. Our GE oven range broke down and we were looking for a GE replacement. I saw this range in store and was very impressed with the professional look of this stove. Its built pretty well and we have had many compliments on the looks of the stove. The oven cooks evenly, and the quick bake feature works well (cooks the food in half the time). Its pretty easy to clean, although, the black finish shows the water marks easily (much the same as a stainless steel finish). Overall, for the price, a very solid range we are very happy with.
