Very good Range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was expecting that the range would come with a broiler pan but did not. I did not expect the griddle to be included, so overall I am happier with the better option.

More than what I hoped for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this range after being overwhelmed by the features we got for the money....We paid less for this range and matching over-the-range microwave than we thought we'd end up paying for just the range! And this stove looks awesome, and cooks so well! Love the center oval burner, and the enclosed heating element in the oven. The center rack in the oven pulls halfway out automatically, which is a real plus! Especially for the kids - less chance of burning themselves.

excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a floor model on sale so I got a tremendous bargain, about 70% off. It arrived at my house on time. pros -looks good -heats quickly -boils quickly -can simmer on all of the burners, not just the simmer burner. -love the black top -love the pull out shelf -comes with griddle top cons -should tell you to season the grates and griddle top -puts out lots of heat to the back of the cook top and out the front when using the oven -wish there was a way to get the oven on during our recent power outage. -spokes on the grates are a little far apart (seems to be a recent trend) harder to balance small things easier for things to fall through

First time gas stove user and I will never go back
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 month after our washing machine died, so did our old electric stove. My wife is an amazing cook and wanted a gas stove so I agreed. We did a lot of research and ended up buying this product based on price and reviews. We haven't regretted it for a moment. The burners work quickly and efficiently. I can't believe how long it took to just boil water on our old electric. Best of all, my wife loves using it! We haven't had one problem with this unit yet and it has been 7 months. The only negative, was getting Centerpoint to install the gas line. That cost almost as much as the stove! But it was worth it! Great product!

So far, good. Just used it for a week
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because of price, I purchased this unit before I was ready for it. Hooked it up for a week before I gutted the kitchen for remodel, so this report is very tentative,.....at best. It all works well, two of the burners needed adjusting to stay lit when on very low simmer. The functions seem easy to understand, and work well. The center burner is oval, and the griddle is a nice feature. I only listed it as "good" because I really have not been able to give it a fair chance to impress me yet.

Great Stove & Oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shopped around and found this stove when it was on sale for $664. I think that is one of the best buys I have ever made. so far after one month, I love this stove and oven. I am still experimenting with the convection oven, but it does provide a quicker cooking time.

I feel like a chef
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great stove. I love to cook and bake and this range makes it so easy to do both. The 5 burners are what sold me.

What a great oven!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to get a new range and rid of the trust 1960's Master Chef. It was sad parting but this new range is insane! Five burners including the long one in the center. Convention cooking decreases the cookiing time and cooks more evenly. Yeah, it'a bit more money but this thing is an all around winner.

Great Looking Oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. My only complaints are simple 1) The oven does not heat to the temperature is says it pre-heats. It seems to be off by about 15-20 degrees. Have had to set the temp around 370 to actually cook at 350 2) The amount of heat that is exhausted towards the front of the cooking surface is very hot. If you are cooking on the cook top and baking at the same time, be ready for the heat. My guess is it will really heat up your home in the summer. Otherwise, it is a beautiful product and the cooking surface works great.

Absolutely love the burner arrangement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the look, love the burners, love having the included cast iron griddle for the large middle burner. Looks great with the Fridgidaire Gallery microwave and dishwasher we got. Got a better deal at Best Buy on this appliance by far than anywhere else I looked.

Cooks evenly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like using the middle griddle for grilled sandwiches, pancakes, etc. the only downfall on the unit is the black surface,it shows all the crumbs.I definitely keep it clean.

Terrible Product - Service Frigidaire
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought the Frigidaire Gas Convection Range about 4 years ago and have nothing but problems with it. First the oven window became totally opaque. Next the stove top has buckled from the control panel and rusted. Now rust is starting on the front door above the oven window. Customer service is appalling. They suggested that salt water from the ocean is responsible for the rust. We live in update NY more than 200 miles from the ocean. She suggested we were responsible for the rust because of using high heat (it's an oven) or the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, which we've never used. I asked her for a list of their approved cleaners, she declined to give me one. When I told her we used a damp "ECO Cloth" to clean the oven, she said perhaps the cloth was too wet. She suggested we take apart the oven door ourselves and clean it but said it would likely be impossible to put it back together alone. Frankly, it was clear within moments that the company was not going to take any reasonable complaint of any kind nor were they willing to admit any problems or responsibility for clear design defects. I have never encountered a major appliance company that was so totally evasive in responding to issues brought to their attention. My complaints were dismissed instantly as cosmetic without any consideration at all. I have never written a complaint online before and I was extremely polite and reasonable in trying to find a compromise or any kind of solution. The range is rusting and becoming an eyesore in the kitchen. We paid well over $1000 for the oven. I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing appliances from Fridgidaire. Their products, design and customer service are truly SUBSTANDARD. Do not buy Fridgidaire products.

LOVE this stove!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stove/oven is wonderful - nice even heating, a fifth elongated center burner and the best feature is the bottom rack which slides out when you open the oven door. Terrific!!

We got it this morning and hooked it up early afternoon and put it to work right away. Broiling was quick now using the convection part for a cinnamon bread, good results!

great oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great stainless steel oven. Thick cast iron pot holders over the burners. Middle oval burning great to pancakes or noodles. Comes with skillet for the middle. Only thing that SUCKS about oven is you pay 1000.00 dollars and get no broiler pan have to buy separate. Tip hold out at store only way I would buy is if I get a broiler pan they will get you one free. Is always on sale if you can wait for sale.

Great gas range!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gas range came installed in the home I bought and does a great job. It rapidly heats the utensils and the 'Quick Boil' is pretty useful.

Still getting used to it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are still getting used to this range. It looks great, and considering our last oven door didn't close correctly it is a big improvement. I haven't quite grasped the concept of where the third oven rack goes, and we seem to end up taking it out because it is in the way. Haven't tried the convection oven yet.

Heats evenly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We really like our new stove. It cooks our food evenly. There is a lot of cooking space on top. It matches our other appliances very well. We have no complaints.

Great Stove for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very surprised at the quality for the price. Cooks great. The black cooking surface shows finger prints...but nothing a simple wiping can handle.
