Like the unit, buying experience was awful

Very flawed packaging for the unit itself, it 2 of three boxes the plastic window partition was broken because it is loaded underneath the unit in the box.

I do like the filter on the front and noticed an improvement in air quality. Temperature gauge seems faulty at times because it will read that my room is 49 degrees when it's obviously not.

Please also know that the temperature gauge only reads the room temperature so make sure that the remote is close by and that the door and windows are closed.

Great for a summer

I've had this unit plugged in for 24hrs & it has slightly cooled the room. I don't like this unit! I actually hate it! I want my money back!

Controls not functioning properly.

Couldn’t connect WiFi either. Manufacturers defect. Returned and bought a bigger 10000 BTU non smart that works much better. No issues with that one.

I would not buy

Bought one of the first models of this AC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one of the first models of this AC, before they added the 'Gallery' tag to it; I honestly don't know what they could have improved on the earlier model as it is outstanding. So much so that I ended up buying a second one the following year. I run the two together in an "Air Conditioners" group I made in Alexa and it's like having a DIY Central AC system; you can turn them on and set the temp on them simultaneously! I have a circulation fan (on a smart switch) in my hallway and they keep my whole first floor cool. I wish they would open up their API so that I could integrate this further and I wish that the app itself would run in portrait mode on a tablet (it seems to be designed exclusively for phones) but those are small things.

My cat keeps turning on the A/C

The next time I turn it back on, the temperature is back to the default setting of 72 degree. The buttons are on the top of the unit and are touch sensitive. My cat loves this because it allows him to jump on top of it and turn it on, blowing 72 degree air up his butt.

Fan quit working not even a year old!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great until the fan quit working. 71/2 month old unit purchased from Best Buy in Delaware and of course now it’s out of season. Fan just quit working out of no where. You can hear it trying but nothing is happening. Calling Frigidaire got me know where pretty much said sorry about you luck. Best part is the manufacturer date is January of 2019 so you would think it would still be under warranty.
