I chose this because of the top review given by Consumer Reports. I am very happy with its performance thus far. There is a smell when using; but I expect that to dissipate in a short time. I would suggest that you make it a point to tell the installers that you would like the anti-tipping device installed upon delivery. I did not, so they handed me the bracket and left.

Do not clean stove top until completely cool and use ceramic stove top cleaner or you will have a bigger mess. But cleaner takes everything up. Find it at Walmart.
