I got this partially because of the smart usage, but find I don't really connect to it via phone very much. Usage limited, but does allow checking of status. 5 stars because it just works, set it and let it do it's thing. Humidity sensors confirm it's very accurate about running at set point.

Works great, much quieter than old one. Does produce some heat but that's not a problem in cellar.

2 of their brand from Home Depot, 1 premium store brand from sears.those crapped out days after the warranty!!! The Frigidaire is keeping the enclosed crawlspace at 39%-40% and I can control it by my phone by wifi. How cool is that. Hope this goes past 1 year. Oh,the price and extended warranty price was very reasonable!!!!! Thanks!!

The dehumidifier was easy to use from the time I pulled it out of the box. Directions are easy.

Needed a replacement dehumidifier in a hurry when our unit broke and I was fortunate this one was available. Does a great job of removing the moisture and even letting me know when it is full! It is a little louder than I would like but it is a great trade off for the efficiency of the unit!

Initial testing shows good moisture extraction in a cool basement. Remote control using Frigidaire Smart App is reasonable, but lacks clear indication if dehumidifier is running due to target humidity goal not being reached yet, or not running because humidity is lower enough to halt extraction. Alexa skill is really useless, only controlling on/off.

I am very pleased with this humidifier. I love that I can control it with an app, and see the humidity on my phone of the area where I have it placed. The unit works very effectively. I definitely needed to add the hose so that it could drain on its own. The bucket filled up too quickly.

New purchase based online reviews of manufacturer, model and cost, as a replacement of prior dehumidifier of 5-years (Haier brnd. bought from Best Buy), which compressor and fan still works fine, however, the R-410a refrigerant needs to be recharged but cost approx. $100.00 for DYI gauge and 1.8 lb. cylinder, so better to purchase a New replacement.
