I will review two things: the dehumidifier and the Google "integration." Dehumidifier This is my first ever dehumidifier. Never had a need for one until my apartment started reaching 60% while at school. I know I bought this way over sized for current needs, but figured I should future proof myself. As it is over sized, it does a quick job of lowering the humidity in my current (2019) apartment. Maybe I should do pro/con list: PROS- works fairly quickly, easy to dump water, has wheels so you don't need to carry it CONS - blows out extremely hot air, continuously runs fan even when not necessary, smart home function, super loud I want to elaborate on the hot air. I looked into the vent and see the motor right there. I believe they use the dried air as the air cooling system. The air coming out is extremely hot. My apartment went from 76 F to 81 F in about an hour with it in my living room. Now my thermostat is in living room, so it picked up really quick on the heat. This is a very insane design. You save no money running this over using your central AC as a dehumidifier since it will cause it to run anyway! The noise is also unbearable. Since the motor runs CONTINUOUSLY, there is no reprieve. I was with my XBOX headset on and still heard it going full steam. I now relegate it to my bedroom since I noticed the humidity is usually higher in there anyway. I also keep a tab on the humidity it senses on the app so I can turn it off once it reaches 45%. The motor still runs even if the compressor isn't. The manual claims that it is for proper sensing of the humidity. I feel it is more lazy design since there are many hygrometers out there and none require a constant stream of air. The Google "integration" Let's get this out of the way, the description LIES about working with Google. What it does is have Google refer to their own assistant to do anything. To use the integration function, you must say "Hey, Google, let me talk to frigidaire" then the Frigidaire assistant does it's thing and asks what you want. At this point you can use voice control to change settings. This is hardly "works with Google." I set it up, used it maybe 5 minutes and decided I'll never use it again since it is UNINTUITIVE and ads extra steps. I can be super lazy, but most times I ask Google what something is set to. You can't even say "Hey, google, what is dehumidifier set to?" since it comes back flat out saying it can't do that. The app The Frigidaire app is about as basic as possible. Just a list of appliances, each having a menu of settings. Is this any better? Not really. To change the humidity level, it goes by 5s. After each adjustment, you need to let it "think." If you just smash the button to setting you want, once it "thinks" you'll see it jump to whatever level it thought about. For how much this thing costs, there sure is a lot of cut corners. The dehumidifying is amazing. Pretty much everything else is a joke. It's a heater. It has pathetic smart home integration. It sucks power due to continuous use.

I have had many air purifiers, but I find this one very easy to use.

Easy to empty tank and to operate. A bit noisy but otherwise does the job

I have never had a dehumidifier before. I bought this to help with moisture in a small room with concrete walls for the winter moisture build up control. Have not had long enough to know long term effect on if it will work for that but no complaints so far.

after a few days of running, my basement no longer has that weird smell. only bad thing is i have to change the bucket quite often since my basement is in bad shape

Works good, pretty heavy weight but does the job and easy to use

Removes alot of water but seems like it puts out alot of heat.

Currently using this for the basement. Terribly humid down there. Left it on continuous for several days. Seems to need emptying every 8 hours or so. Basement is finally getting to around 50 humidity. Love the wifi controls also from the phone. Recommended.

The unit within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box and has been flawlessly for nearly 2 months. I expect that to continue indefinitely, with minimal maintenance (regular cleaning of the filter, and a light reminds you when it’s time).

I purchased this dehumidifier for my basement, it gets the job done. The bucket is decent sized and has a nice handle for dumping the water. I purchased a hosed so that I do not have to constantly monitor/empty the container. I purchased this dehumidifier a little over a year and still loved it.

this my 3rd one in just under three years. the quality and availability keeps dropping but i noticed the price is going up and so is the extended warranty costs - do not buy with out the warranty

This dehumidifier works great. Takes a TON of moisture out of our old damp farm house. One thing to be aware of is that it's very loud. Another thing is - in the summer the exhaust air out of it feels very hot... and in the winter very cool...

I bought this to replace an older (and smaller) dehumidier in my basement and have been very pleased with it so far. It has a large tank capacity, is fairly quiet, and pulls moisture out of the air at a speedy pace.

I really like this dehumidifier and the fact that I can operate it through Alexa (or Frigidaire app) instead of having to go the basement to do so. Still, I find its price a bit on the steep side.

This dehumidifier performs perfectly quickly reducing and maintaining the humidity level in our 2,000 square foot lower level. The wifi connection allows you to easily monitor the humidity level and adjust it if necessary.

Put in my musty basement. I plumbed the device so the water drains into a sump pump. Keep it at 55% in the summer and works great. Didn't notice much of a bump in electricity.

Bought due to increased moisture in the house with new windows. Put it in the basement and it definitely did it's job. The only bad thing is that this puts out a lot of warm air, so if used in a room other than the basement, it may compete with the air conditioning to keep rooms cool!

This dehumidifier works beautifully. My son has asthma and I have some lung problems as well - and they cleared right up as the water container filled up. The first day we had to change it twice - and the air was so much more breathable!

This is the second one off this brand that I have purchased. I have one in my basement and one in the upstairs. I like that when the humidity hits the set percentage, it shuts down until the humidity goes back up. Highly recommend.
