It was a better premise and introduced new characters which I am a fan of. I love how the two sisters work together to make things work in their kingdom.

Good Movie

The first movie was about Anna growing up and finding love. Elsa finally opening up to her sister and kingdom about her powers and accepting who she was rather than fearing from it and flinging all her responsibilities away. This movie kind of backtracks and erases Elsa's progress, only to steer her in a new direction. Anna seems overly protective and there are many depressing themes woven into this movie. Disney used to make happy warm movies, but this one was just okay. It just wasn't that great.
