Fun movie - makes you want to just "let it go!" Purchased for a quiet afternoon movie while nephews were visiting - they knew (and sang) every song! Animated adventure of two sisters who must learn the meaning of unselfish love and two suitors who benefit from the same lesson - one whose seemingly selfless assistance was all about helping himself and the other suitor that seemed to only think of how things affected him who turned out to be truly selfless - putting another's needs first and following his heart.

The 4K rendering of the movie - both audio & video is great. The steelbook case design and the art work is amazing; an added bonus the case is fully glossed and embossed at the edges which gives even better feel. I have both the US Edition through BestBuy and the UK limited edition with Mondo X art work. The art work on the MOndo X is also great and a must have for any collector.

Every since before this movie was in the theater my daughter wanted to see this movie. So I couldn't wait for the DVD to come so I could get it for her. The movie lived to the hype for her she loves the movie & can't get enough of it well worth the money , also why we waited for the DVD. I'm also a sucker for the extra stuff that comes with purchasing movies on day one , so the activity book that came with was great too my daughter loves it. Get this movie you won't regret it because your kids will love it.

People say this is for girls but my 4 year old nephew loves this film.

This is a typical Disney story, which is a good thing, told through some very advanced animation techniques. The ability to "move" the camera angles throughout the scene sequence is really upping the ante in animation technique, making them more cinematic. The plot is typical of Disney and you will find all of the characters fit perfectly into the formula. Music is also some of the best to come out of a Disney film in several years. Get this for your kids, your grandkids and yes, even for yourself.

A lot of people criticize Frozen for what it isn't. Their preferred setting, cast, etc. Not for what it is. It is an incredibly touching story with fantastic music, score, script and performances by Menzel and Bell we haven't heard in a long time. I took 7 nieces and nephews ages 18 months to 14 and not once did any of them get up to ' go to the bathroom' or get more snacks. Boys, girls were both drawn to the film the whole time. The younger kids responded more to Olaf than the thematics of it all.

Got combo of Blu Ray, DVD, and Digital copy for under $20. This is one of the best Disney movies since their early 90's run. We like how it feels like the messaging is updated to the issues of today. I think people of all ages will like this movie. The one thing that is not so great are the extras. Deleted scenes are just so, and the "Making of..." is nothing more than a silly musical number. Then again, I usually don't pay any attention to extras so it did not detract from a 5 star rating for us.

a good better yet a classic film a must see and a must own as well

Well everybody knows the movie, so I don't have much to say on that other than 5 stars. My wife and I loved this movie! Disney's plan was to only release this movie in Blue-ray and DVD, and not in 3D (at least not yet). I couldn't wait for Disney to sell the 3D version, so I bought this one. The quality of the movie is really crisp and the sound is amazing! The extra features including the songs that we've all been hearing on the radio over and over again, are a nice addition to the collection.

This is a re-telling of a Nordic tale and is done very well. The animation and artwork are very appealing. The vocals and songs and compelling and the story itself is one in which one of the main character is lead to self discovery and eventually acceptance of self (which is not a bad idea to teach). There are the usual obstacles to overcome and the characters who are not as they seem but that always adds to the telling of the story . This was overall an enjoyable film to share with the family.

Great movie. Our kids have been watching intently to see when the Blu Ray is available. These aren't typical Disney Princesses and that's a good thing. They rely on their own talents and their bond as sisters to face adversity. Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital formats allow us to watch wherever we are. Price was as good or better as anywhere else at launch. I don't have need for the 3D format but for those that do it is ridiculous that it is being released at a later date. Seems to be driven by greed.

A disney studios retelling of a Hans Christian Anderson tale.As with many disney movies, my grandchild enjoyed this movie.the story is solid . I enjoyed the movie also ,and have told every one to see this, young or old.The animation is amazing as are the characters.I can not decide which character I like best,Olaf the snowman or the carrot eating reindeer Sven.In the extras it tells how Walt wanted to do a movie about a snow queen ,and the 75- year journey that ended with this movie.Great times

Frozen is a great movie. Saw it at the theatre and instantly knew it was one of the movies that will be in my collection. Although the movie maybe good, I was somewhat disappointed in the extras. Only thing they had were 4 or 5 additional songs of" let it go". In different languages. I wish they put additional scenes or even bloopers, maybe few clips of how they managed to put the musical themed movie together rather than simply adding various language of a song. (Granted it is a good song)

Great movie for the children. Price was was little high worth it.

Disney has created another instant classic. The songs, the characters, the plot, the comedic material designed for various ages all work together to create a story that your family will love to watch over and over again. One of the most important items in this story is the moving away from the need for a Prince Charming to come in and save the day, but rather to emphasise the importance of love from within the family unit and how that love guides your interactions with those around you.

Frozen is Disney at its best! It harkens back to modern Disney classics like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Spectacular animation, relatable characters and a "love will conquer all" story make this a real treasure. The music is nothing short of perfect, with clever lyrics and melodies that you will began humming after one viewing. Frozen looks and sounds great in blu ray. Although what is on the disc is enjoyable, I wish Disney would have included more extras.

They price watched the movie and I was able to get it for a great deal.

I think a lot of the steelbook editions are kind of ugly, so it's nice that they decided to keep this one relatively simple and I think it's more effective for it. As for the 4K, even though this is a newer animated film, the 4K is still a significant upgrade in video quality from the Blu-ray and is worth double dipping for those willing.

My wife and I took our Grand Kids to see this when it was in the theaters. My wife said then that it was the best movie she had seen in a long time. Our granddaughter loved it. Even the grandsons thought it was good. We decided that it would definitely be one we bought when it came out on DVD and we would get the BluRay version with the Digital Copy too. Great songs, great characters, great dialogue, great actors, and a GREAT message..And BEST BUY had a GREAT price on the combo package.

We had not seen Frozen in the theater, so this was our first view. I won't spoil anything for anyone who has not seen this film yet. The story is often pretty much standard Disney princess/heroine stuff, but the animation is fantastic and the story line contains a rather surprising and emotionally wrenching twist. Good for the whole family, although the opening back story may be a little dark for some younger children. We thoroughly enjoyed the film and the DVD extras that we've viewed.
