This is a story that begins happily and then a tragedy causes family sorrow and separation. It shows how family members can try to protect other members, by making choices that bring hurt instead of togetherness. How immature and quick decisions can bring unintended consequences. And how real love, can overcome all of these things. I was a bit concerned in the beginning when the sister met the handsome young man, and within a day, was asked to marry. I didn't like the message that it might send to my daughters. So, I was happy when I saw that the movie, showed it as a folly instead of true love, and how it brought a lot of trouble. I think it had a very positive message.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for my 9-year-old daughter. And you would think that as the father of the family, I should be the least enthusiastic about this movie. However, I think that I enjoy it just as much as the rest of my household. From the unbelievable attention to animated detail to the great jokes and the powerful emotion, this is the best Disney film I can remember in a long time. My wife - a big Disney movie fan - says that she feels she's found a new favorite. Even my 3-year-old son has most of the songs memorized, and my 12-year-old boy has requested putting the soundtrack on his iPod. So yeah...I'd say it's a great choice for the ENTIRE family.

****SPOILERS IN CONTENT***** You were warned. I loved this movie to death in theaters and am happy to have it added to my DVD collection. It is one of the more recent disney productions that I've actually enjoyed. Not saying that Brave or Tangled aren't enjoyable. But I liked this film more. HOWEVER, here's the spoiler. I didn't like the trolls after the first fifteen minutes of the film. They serve no function plot wise and their musical number is forgetful and feels like it drags on forever. Otherwise I really enjoyed this move and loved all the extra disney character cameos and Easter eggs throughout the film. Bonus content on this is also entertaining and fun.

The movie is gorgeous. I saw this being advertised as the next ‘Disney Princess’ movie. But with a lot of recent Disney movies (Brave, Tangled), this came as no surprise it wouldn’t be a traditional story. The story is quite charming and touching at the least. I don’t really want to talk about the story, because I recommend you watch this first. nThe music is fantastic. These beautifully orchestrated pieces of pure magic and love filled pieces will be playing through your head for days, even weeks after you watch this movie. Visually, it looks beautiful. There are several moments that are suited for 3D, but none the less, it glistens in all the right places.

The last time Disney adapted a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, we got one of my favorite films, The Little Mermaid. Now, we have a movie that has very much the same feel as Mermaid. Frozen feels like it could fit right in with the Disney movies of the late 80's/early 90's, like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. The music is great, and I left singing it; the lead characters are very likable, with memorable sidekicks; and there are even surprises, things you would never expect to see in a Disney animated film! This is my favorite movie of the year so far, and may even be my favorite movie in years. I highly recommend this one!

This is a such a beautiful movie. My little one watches it all the time. She sings along to the songs. Would recommend it.

Besides the fact that the movie is watched at least once a day, it still entertains my kids enough for me to get things done.

Frozen has a lot of Disney staples: Princesses, cute animals, singing, danger, rejection, acceptance. It's more of a musical than a standard Disney animated film. The songs actually progress the plot and tell elements of the story, rather than just expressing something or being silly. They also had a return to form with a lot of in-jokes and references that adults will get, and that kids will get when they re-watch it as adults. At times the story is predictable, but most fairy tales are. The trolls could have been more involved, and I could watch a whole Olaf movie. I was hoping they would have some Olaf shorts in the extras, but there was only one.

pros: excellent picture, glare reduction is good, it still has a bit of glare, but a lot less than my previous tv. Also like being able to watch the tv on my phone so I don't have to miss any of the action if I need to take a restroom break or run to the kitchen for a drink or snack/ cons: bought this model for the "multi-view" to be able to watch more than one soccer game at a time, but the multi-view 2nd screen only allows for external devices (phone/pc/dvd) or 2 apps, either the Samsung TV app or the YouTube app. Very disappointing that the support said you can use any app but even they could not get it to work with any other apps (such as ESPN+, Paramount+ or Peacock ... in other words, the streams that have the games). I would not have paid the amount of money for this TV if I had known this.

The music is catchy, and many of the animation visuals are well-done, especially with the various snow scenes, Elsa's magic, and the creation of the ice-castle, but there is something lacking in continuity of the story line. As stated above, why does no one seem to notice that a little boy and his reindeer are suddenly missing at the beginning of the movie? Why is Elsa born with the magic? How did Elsa get to the top of the mountain and build an ice-castle in one night, but it took Anna and Christoph much longer, and they even had transportation for a portion of the trip? However, given those holes, it is still a fun movie with great messages.

The Classics, the instant hits, the bangers.. Little Mermaid, Lion King, ect, ect, well... NOW you MUST add Frozen to that list! Its great, has the funny punchlines, the adult only references, and even the singing that will have you singing the songs out loud until another adult gives you a quizical look. SIDE NOTE: The ESPANOL version(included in the Blu-Ray Collectors Edition) is just as good as the English version, almost nothing was lost in translation. The songs are just as addicting in ESPANOL as in English. In Short, FROZEN is the Little Mermaid of This Generation(and we all know how great that movie is!!) On A.I.E.N. oNe

This movie was bought for my Daughter, so I had her review it: I heard a lot about this movie from friends and was very happy to be able to watch it. It was well worth buying, and I've watched it again several times since the first time I sat down and watched it. It had very lovable and relatable characters, the storyline was wonderful, and the animation was flawless. Not to mention the music and singing was beautiful. There was a lot of appreciable humor in certain parts, and very serious moments at others, but all in all I would definitely recommend watching this movie. It has quickly earned a spot amongst my favourite movies.

This is a very a good steelbook, the design in perfect, I just wish the material was matte instead of glossy.

I've seen Frozen multiple times in the past, and the film gets better and better each time I watch it. Memorable music, great characters, and the emotional bond between the sisters is what sets this apart from other Disney films. Quality of Blu-ray is exceptionally great, and having a 4K is a plus, even though I don't own a 4K player just yet. The steel book case is also well designed and durable, and it's a nice addition to my physical movie media.

I won't comment too much about Frozen other than it being a good movie that subverts expectations though I do think Tangled had better character development. For the 4k UHD Blu-Ray, the video quality is amazing. Would have loved Dolby Vision, but the HDR alone is still good and makes scenes like the famous Let It Go number incredible. Of course you also get Dolby Atmos with it too. The actual steel book's design is very nice especially with the artwork in the front.

Great movie to watch with the family and kids. It has great music and a strong message about family.

The movie starts like many Disney type movies and then gets dark as the family must hide their daughter and something even worse happens. Then we get to see this ain't your usual Disney princess movie. You have strong female characters but, also you have a character that wants love and attention so bad she'll fall for anything. The story has a number of twists and turns before you find out that villians aren't necessarily villains and the good aren't what they appear. There's a lot of twist and turns and a love story to boot. If you love songs too, there are some chart toppers. Its worth the price!

Movie gets 5 stars.....awesome movie for the entire family! My only complaint is the pre-sale purchase and pick-up. I bought it at one location (near my home), and tried to pick it up at another (near my office). I was NEVER told I had to pick it up from the place I bought it at. I was also led to believe that I would get "extras" when I picked it. Well, not only did I have to make 2 trips to 2 stores, but when I picked it up, the salesperson grabbed a copy off the shelf. It was NOT reserved for me! And I did not receive any bonuses or extras, as I was mistakenly informed! Not happy about that.....

This movie musical made the transition from old cell animation to CG animation complete just like the transition from Black & White animation to color one. During the development process of CG animation, CG artists' goal were to make animation characters more realistic. Their challenge has shown in the progression of how they make characters' hair real. However, after the CG animators' challenge in Final Fantasy, their aim turned around from animation "more realistic" to simply transformation from cell animation with effortless (and costless), and pioneering animators' could not do (or really hard to do) with cells such as blurring a part of a scene. When the CG animators started making software, no one thought they would make CG Snoopy movie which will open soon. About the movie Frozen itself, the last scene was predictable, and no relation whatsoever to the Andersen's Snow Queen except traveling with a reindeer. They should not even mention it based on the Snow Queen since it does not have lesson for the children from the naivety of the fairy tale, but influenced by X-Men. Hooray for Pixer got rid of Eisner, and buying Disney, but regrettably saying Pixer staffs cannot make great original movies anymore because they lost edgy spirits, and became wealthy. It's ashamed, and such a bummer for Pixer supporters.
