Expectations too high

It doesn't have any adult humor, and it is repetitive and a heavy musical. I kept thinking it would get better but it didn't. I bought this cause I had heard it was really good. I wish I wouldn't have. I will be giving it to people with young kids cause I never need to hear a song or see a scene from it again. I love animated films, but they need jokes that are for kids and adults like shrek or turbo. I thought Epic was a way better film too. I thought that they had limitless options once they established the magic queen but they never made it above a kids themed movie. I hated the songs so much. The plot was good but poorly executed.
