One of Disney’s Best Animated Films
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen is one of the best Disney Animated movie with a great story about two sisters and great songs. One sister learning to control her powers and the other sister teaching her that love is more powerful than fear.

Worth it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen 2 around the corner and glad that they decided to release a steelbook cover of Frozen. The front cover has Elsa in the front displaying her amazing power. The tittle Frozen is embossed into the case which make a nice feature. The movie it’s self is a Disney Classic of the current time.

Wonderful addition to classic Disney canon
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.“Frozen” is certainly one of my new favorite Disney movies, although that may not be that selective of a group. In my opinion, Disney film animation is at its best when it is doing it’s best, and that’s musical fairy tales. Just like they have taken quite a few liberties with the source material before, the same is the case here, with the original Hans Christian Andersen story “The Snow Queen” being present in only the barest sense, but that hardly matters at all because this film is a delight from beginning to end. However, this film is not without its own Disney clichés either. We have two princesses now, but also cue the dead king and queen. Still, this film does its best to break as many conventional molds as it can. Queen Elsa does not need nor even desire a charming prince to save her. The romance here is reserved for her younger sister Anna, who is adorably naïve and hilarious in her own right with her reactions. There is a degree of self-awareness on Disney’s part in that particular aspect, almost in a self-parodying manner similar to that in “Enchanted.” The twist at the end concerning the villain was unexpected enough to legitimately surprise me, and in a good way. It can drag for a bit towards the end, and it overall has a problem depicting the passage of time well, but that doesn’t take away from the warm experience that “Frozen” delivers. The comic relief characters, the animal and the goofball Olaf, were not as annoying as I might have expected from the promotional material; quite the contrary actually. They are both a delight and that little snowman should replace Frosty as the definitive jolly happy soul in a package of human-shaped frozen water. As expected of a Disney film, much of this film’s charm and success are closely tied the music. In a move that I greatly appreciate and seems to be recurring more with this studio as of late, all of the voice actors also do their own singing. If I recall correctly, both “Tangled” and “The Princess and the Frog” also did this, but not since “Beauty and the Beast” had it been done before that. At any rate, this cast is wonderful. In particular, Kristen Bell has as much innocence and charm to her singing as Jodie Benson and Paige O’Hara. And, of course, Idina Menzel has proven herself to be in a class all her own. She delivers, in all the best senses of that word, this film’s killer single “Let It Go,” which has become so popular in such a short amount of time, I doubt I need to elaborate much on it. Needless to say, it resonates strongly with anyone who hasn’t fit in at some point in their lives, which is pretty much everyone, and is now as iconic as “Under the Sea.” “For the First Time in Forever” also hits several emotional points wonderfully, its own “Belle” that’s fantastic. The first few stanzas of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” are so overly cute, they will probably give you diabetes. This is not to say, however, that the soundtrack is all hits; there are a couple of misses. Kristoff’s bit is creepier than it is endearing, the opening song about ice is as forgettable as that sounds, and the trolls’ song towards the end is kind of stupid. Overall, whatever very minor faults this film has doesn’t detract from the fact that this is a modern instant classic. “Frozen” will go down in Disney history has great and as iconic as anything from its Renaissance era or the Golden Age. No one can go wrong with this film, as children and adults of all ages will absolutely adore it as I do. Basically, if you don’t like this film, it is you who has a cold heart.

Pretty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Such a gorgeous steel with debossed title and glossy finish! The only thing that would make it better would be to use Anna's picture on the north mountains at the back connecting with Elsa's on the front.

Frozen is a great Disney movie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen is a great Disney movie that is very reminiscent of old classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I will give you a little background on Frozen. The movie came out in 2013 and is a 3D computer-animated musical fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film was inspired bya Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen". The movie features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana. The film tells the story of a fearless princess who sets off on an epic journey alongside a rugged, thrill-seeking mountain man, his loyal pet reindeer, and a hapless snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. This movie is great for kids and adults a like and I could not recommend it any higher. I am glad I watched this movie. Thank you for reading my review and if this review was helpful please indicate it was, it goes a long way.

Some animated films are worth melting for...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It isn't very often that a film lugging around so much baggage -- abandoned concepts, production delays, personnel changes, top to bottom rewrites, and eleventh hour alterations, just to scratch the surface -- ends up being anything other than a complete and total mess. It's rare enough to see a remotely functional movie emerge from the depths of production hell, much less a cleverly structured, memorably staged, wholly entertaining delight. And yet that's exactly what Frozen is: that rare diamond in the rough that defies all odds and delivers on both its promise and potential. Rounding out a four-film run that's given us new classics Tangled (2010), Winnie the Pooh (2011) and Wreck-It Ralph (2012), Frozen makes it difficult to deny that we're (at the very least) three years into a second renaissance in Disney animation -- the Lasseter Renaissance if you will -- an exciting era of wonder, laughter and joy ideally suited to the young and the young at heart.

The Disney Magic continues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen is a great movie, I wouldn't say it's a game-changer but it is keeping the quality and fun of the past few Disney movies (Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph) and continuing to deliver in a way only Pixar once could. As far as the film goes, it is aces. The special features however are fairly 'meh' , with a 10 min documentary, teaser trailer , deleted scenes, and a couple music videos. Pretty run of the mill stuff. I am getting a bit frustrated at Disney's new "Movies Anywhere" since it really is "Disney's Movies Anywhere.... provided you have Apple products", it really alienates many of those that like to utilize Ultraviolet.

Excellent Movie!!! Disney's Finest Ever...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen is worth the hype...start to finish, this movie is entertaining for kids and adults alike. My only complaint with the movie is that there isn't enough OLAF!! Disney: If you are reading this review and we both know you are...for the love of all that is good and kind in this world, would you PLEASE have more OLAF in the sequel to FROZEN because 20 minutes simply will not suffice! Josh Gad is brilliant as OLAF!!!

Frozen - A Disney Classic for the whole family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frozen is a wonderful movie for kids and adults. The storyline and song are easy for very young children to understand and enjoy. There are villians and beasts in this movie, but they are not frightening enough to scare the youngest of children. The story is very heart-waming about two sisters that are driven apart due to one of them having powers to freeze anything she touches. The sisters reunite at the end in a very heartwarming reunion that will melt the hearts of anyone that was frozen from watching this movie.

Another fun addictive Disney Classic for all ages!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, I was late to the Frozen game... I had seen the previews and heard all the hype... but I resisted and resisted until it was cheap on Black Friday. This is a great movie. It works on all levels, and my niece and nephew have watched this more times than I can count. It's just great addictive fun and a good romp for everyone. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy it, and would happily have bought it not on sale knowing what I know now. If you have money in your wallet, let it go! and buy this movie :)
