First off, my kids loves this movie and that's all that really matters. As an adult who loves Disney, this isn't one of my favorites. It feels like Disney decided they wanted to sell some music, so they made a movie! Good, but not great.

This a decent Disney flick with the standard princess themes except this time the princess is her own protagonist. The usual themes are there. Teenage desire to break free. Romance. Family. Good show soundtrack (another Disney hallmark).
