Toshiba runaround. No warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please understand this is not a Toshiba television set. It’s made by Hisense. Out of the box mine would not recognize the HDMI signal coming from the box. It was past Best Buy‘s minuscule 14 day return policy so they were absolutely no help. I called Toshiba up and they begin a severe runaround policy. they told me it was fire TVs issue. Fire TV didn’t even know what I was talking about. Went back-and-forth between Best Buy and Toshiba and Best Buy indicated that Toshiba would handle the warranty. Toshiba then told me to contact Best Buy to have a technician come and look at the television. I made the appointment and then Best Buy sent me an email. A few hours later saying it had been canceled that it was Toshiba’s issue. Understand if you buy a TV from either Toshiba or high since THERE IS NO WARRANTY!
