A very good by for the money. We were able to stream from my iPhone almost immediately. It is ready to use out of the box.

Have been using this thing at the pool and river all summer long. Highly recommend it if you have an active lifestyle and need a speaker to match it.

great battery life, but to really enjoy the music you need to be within 10 feet

The only decent feature of this speaker is it's ruggedness. If you're planning on using it while hiking, climbing, etc., it's a good choice. I wanted something for use around the house to connect our phones too, and this product just didn't put out the sound I wanted.

For those who buy right the 1st time...this is the only portable rugged bluetooth speaker you will ever need!!

The quality of the speaker is very good but the pictures of the speaker make it look bigger. I ordered the speaker off of BestBuy.com so I was expecting a medium sized louder speaker. I was shocked when the speaker came and with the outer shell included it was only about the size of the nose soundlink mini III

if it would just play louder id give it 5 stars but the max volume isnt loud enough. tried to use it by our family pool and turned up all the way it was not loud enough to return it but lost the box

I bought the Fugoo - Tough Bluetooth Wireless Speaker based on the reviews written here. First of all the speaker itself is built to take a beating. It is dense and should hold up to moderate abuse if that is what it is exposed to. The sound is not too bad. The mids and highs are clear but the bass leaves something to be desired. The volume is decent for a small to medium sized bedroom or small living room. Outside at a party though it is easily overpowered. I'd recommend this for camping, hiking, or other outdoor activity that doesn't have too much other noises around. If you are looking for a speaker to use at a pool party or other noisy environment I would recommend looking for a different speaker or the larger Fugoo XL.

The speaker is very nice and has an awesome case around it that makes it "Tough". The 40 hour battery life is awesome as well but my problem is it is way to low at full volume for me. I had to return it and get the Logitech Ultimate Ears Megaboom for an additional $70.00 but it is nice and loud for my application. It has a 20 hour battery that is second to the Fugoo Tough. If you don't mind a lower volume wireless speaker with the best life for a battery the Fugoo is for you. Just not for me.

I have researched Bluetooth speaker for a while and decided to give this one a shot. Wow! There isn't a large amount of low end, but the mids and highs are very, very clean! I've heard detail in some songs that I've never noticed before. The fact that it is water and dust proof doesn't hurt either. The battery easily last all week at normal volume levels. (listening about 8 hours per day) Highly recommended!

Purchased the Fugoo speaker at the beginning of summer for taking to the beach and for music on the river when I go kayaking. Purchased the additional attachments for easy mounting to things like beach chairs, bike handle bars, etc. Overall, I'm satisfied with the speaker. It is rugged and produces decent sound quality. Sounded louder in the store, but it is sufficient for my use. Battery life is exceptional for a speaker of this size. Being able to take phone calls or issue Siri commands like "play Reggae" came in handy while on the beach. :)
