    Scene Recongintion Mode is ok.

Stay in Scene Recognition Mode is ok, picture noise is reduce in low night compare with the older XP90. Waterproof means its dust proof, sensor is free of dust for lifetime. The problem is in Program mode, it is annoying, It's prompt "Saving picture ?" , after you press the shutter on every picture . There is no way to bypass this question, firmware is the latest. If you don't mind to press OK every time after taking a picture in Program mode. XP140 is the camera you may consider I have email the support, if it is possible to bypass this "feature" , Their reply is to instruct me to call the 800 number. I don't want to repeat my story twice .

I'd would say it is one of the decent camera among all but not the best. I give it 4-stars considering its price-point, and understanding the limitations of a 1/2.3" sensor. It’s a 2 or 3 star camera if you do not need the ruggedness

the only disappointment was that you cannot take still pics while videoing. This features, as present in most phones, was present on the older models. I had one that finally stopped working after many years.

This camera should come with a scan card. I bout it and the scan card I bought was to big for the camera so I was not able to take pictures on my vacation only had my phone. The pAper work says a child can use it and set it up. While I’m 63 and had a hell of the time sitting it up.

    NOT Water tight

Bought it, used it twice in Florida, snorkeling and got the pictures off it. Didn’t get into the water after that cuz I was back home in Utah and noticed that the inside of where plug in the USB has corrosion all around and in it. Somehow water got in and ruined the camera. I tried to charge it it to use it again and it was dead. It takes decent pics but when we tried charging it on the first day it didn’t charge for some reason even when we knew the plug worked cuz I charged my iPhone in the same plug in the wall. Missed a whole day of underwater vacation photos. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this product especially since it says water tight and I know it was sealed and locked shut cuz I checked and so did my girlfriend before using it each time and some how water still got in. Very disappointed!

This camera is great. I got soaking wet on the Snake River. Not a drop of water was able to enter the camera. I could not go wrong with this purchase. A terrific price, especially when in sale. I purchased it locally and it was less expensive than on line!

The camera is a beautiful blue. The underwater pictures are a little dark, but overall I was completely satisfied! Be sure to put your sim card in though BEFORE the 1st picture.

In anything other than ideal conditions, you really need to use the manual settings to get good picture quality. Once you're set up properly for the light it takes pretty good pictures.

These cameras work well in rugged environments. I have used a couple in a warehouse environment with dust and rain and they have held up well. Just don't run them over with a forklift!

This camera takes pictures that aren’t any better than a decent cell phone camera, especially in low light. However, its durability and waterproofing make it useful in situations that need those things.

Very durable and dependableIs exactly what I was looking for in a camera. I take many pictures during my inspections for insurance companies. I need a camera that can handle taking close to 75 pictures a day and also tough enough in case I drop it.

Transferring photos over Bluetooth is a headache

Bought this to replace the last waterproof fuji we had. They are handy for canoe trips and hiking etc because they don't need to be charged all the time. I wish the picture quality was better-I've gotten spoiled by how lovely my mobile pictures turn out. But it's durable and will get the job done. Another reason I went with this model was to easily transfer pictures over Bluetooth to the mobile phone. It's a headache and works intermittently. Ultimately easier to take out the memory card and download it to the laptop.
