However the lighting dial could be more intuitive because the light only indicates what setting the camera thinks you should use, but you still need to set it yourself.

Good camera for anytime use

It's the best of both digital world in that it's instant AND old school...actually having a photograph in your hand. It's fun and simple to use...point and shoot and voila!
