Got the camera for my daughter for Christmas. She loves the instant gratification of watching the picture develop in front of her. The only drawback would be the cost and the number of pictures you can take. Other than that she loves it!

They are nice but i would recommend getting a bigger pack cause they do run out kinda fast depending on gow much you use them

Good tool for someone who wants "to go back" to taking pictures with film, rather than digitally, especially since this is for a young girl, wanting ti learn about "the old way" of taking pictures.
