One of the cartridges was defective fresh out of the package, and they are NOT easy to get out of the camera when they're full. Also I learned the hard way the prints come out a little darker than the image on the screen, so there was some trial and error to getting these right. It's a cool toy, but there's a learning curve. It's smart to buy in bulk.

My wife loves having a picture in hand. She has grown up in the digital age where pictures are on phones. The film can be costly if wasted but getting a picture on the spot is fascinating to him.
