I'm sure a lot of people will agree, the basic training in the first hour makes the movie! Lee Ermey was an actual TI and was excellent!

Purchased the "Full Metal Jacket" 4k-Blu-ray DVD. Inside it had a digital copy code slip. Warner Bros would not honor the digital code because it had expired. No retailer should not be selling DVD's with expired digital codes. That's why I bought this DVD because I live on the road and would like to watch it streaming!

Great movie but the 4k just wasn’t that impressive. It’s a step up from the standard Blu-ray, but the source material they were working with wasn’t very good. The detail is an improvement, but the grain structure is very poor and everything looks very muddy. If you’re a super fan pick it up when it’s on sale for $10. Otherwise you’re fine hanging onto your old Blu-ray.

This is a really good movie. I would recommend it it.

I’ve never seen this movie but I’m a big fan of Kubrick and couldn’t beat the Black Friday price!

Something funky about this 4k release it skips or freezes on my stand alone Sony and Panasonic 4k players but plays fine on the Xbox One S. Exchanged it and still same problem.

Bought for $10 so can't complain much, and don't really know what I was expecting to begin with. It looks fine, but doesn't blow me away or anything.

Was the Sargent the highlight of this movie? To some it's a classic, I guess.

I bought this on sale as I dont have a copy, but the audio transfer is junk. I would recommend a different version of this movie.
