Full Metal Jacket - best war movie ever made!

It is truly powerful, especially the first third where they show the realities of the psychological affects in basic training in the marines. And the brutalities of war being in the battlefield in Vietnam. It is graphic and unpredictable. A true milestone in filmmaking .
