Never seen this movie but looking forward to checking out this new 4k transfer of it for the first time. Kubrick's other 4k releases have been great!

Full Metal Jacket in 4k looks great. the last part of the movie in combat looks even better and uses HDR so well with the fires and explosions .

Nothings come close to the opening boot camp scene of this film. Well saving private Ryan’s opening is far superior but still awesome movie

Excellent movie that looks so much better in 4K. Definitely a must own if you enjoy Kubrick movies and/or war movies.

This is one of the best, if not the best war movie. I knew I must get it in 4K, and the decision was well made when I saw it in my home theater.

I am a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick and this is another great UHD release of his films. My copy came with a slipcover which looks great. Not a huge fan of these new artwork designs but the film itself looks great. Wish there were some new bonus features as it contains the same ones as previous releases but that's a minor quibble.

Classic war movie with a great cast saw this movie back when I was a teenager & it still a great movie to watch.

I love this particular war movie. My dad was a career marine and says the boot camp stuff was accurate. It's a grim movie for sure.

One of the great army movies. It's a classic to watch. Buy it on 4K and experience the great colors that pop.

I owe this on blu ray and it's a great movie, but it really pops on 4k. It makes the it a whole new and sharper viewing experiences.

You can’t go wrong with the Kubrick classic. I would have loved the steelbook but this will be a great addition to my collection.
