By far one of my top 10 favorite movies. I am a big fan of this movie and have been looking forward to replacing it in my collection

This is a war movie by Stanley Kubrick. Some parts of it can be funny and very intense. If you are wanting to watch a war movie this is a great choice. Everything about this movie is fantastic.

Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys the Vietnam war genre, or war movies in general. The movie does a great job of getting inside the minds of green recruits through basic and into combat.

A pragmatic U.S. Marine observes the dehumanizing effects the U.S.-Vietnam War has on his fellow recruits from their brutal boot camp training to the bloody street fighting in Hue.

This is boot camp the way it used to be, before it was toned down and softened up for today's recruits. The scenes with Lee Ermey have become classic lore and once they are over, (you will know when that is) the movie takes a sharp downhill slide. Still a fun movie overall but it just feels like an hollow toward the finish with such a powerful beginning.

if you like war or human drama flicks, this one is for you. Kubrick did an excellent job, and, while graphic, many of the sequences show what war truly is, and what i can do to people.

Amazing steelbook for an amazing film, it was a blind buy for me, never seeing the film but I'm so glad i did buy it

Although not as vivid as a more recent movie shot with HD in mind, Full Metal Jacket is a classic that deserves the highest quality and remastering possible. This was up to par.

This is an older movie I originally saw I in the movie theater and was happy when we were able to purchase the movie at a great price from BestBuy.

Kubrick is, arguably, the greatest filmmaker to ever set foot behind a camera. His works are deep and passionate! Full Metal Jacket should be included in any Kubrick collection!
