One of the best films of 2014. In one of Logan Lerman's best performances since The Perks of being a Wallflower (2012) and Noah (2014), this is a cannot miss film; a true masterpiece. There have been too many war films that depict the ease of both killing another man/woman or the toughness of one's characterization, when really, as we so often forget, many of those that went into war, especially before 1990, were just boys. American cinema has forgotten the true depiction of what war does to a man. This film provides a near perfect example of the true nature of war and of the men who fought in war. I highly recommend all to see (first buy) this film. You will not be disappointed, not one bit.

It’s a good gritty movie and I think they did a good job with the 4K release. The coolers look more realistic thanks to HDR and some scenes are better.

I loved the depiction of war in this World War 2 movie as Brad Pitt's Wardaddy says ideals are peaceful, but history is violent. He receives a new tank driver who is a transfer from the Army typist unit and off the Fury tank crew goes on a new mission in the last days of World War 2 in Germany as the Germans keeping fighting (even though a lot of killing will be done before the war is over). It is a gritty look at the effect war has on the tank crew as life is hard on them and everyone involved in the war (from the soldiers to the civilians). David Ayers does an excellent job directing FURY with Brad Pitt giving the best performance. The deleted and extended scenes give extra character development on the tank crew and a little about another tank crew plus how Wardaddy ended up in the Army. The best feauturettes are on the Best Buy bonus disc which means if you didn't buy FURY at Best Buy, you will miss behind-the-scenes making-of extras are better than the bts fluff that is on the regular blu-ray . Track down the bonus disc version while you can if you are a fan of making-of extras.
