Got it just in time for Memorial Day and the anniversary of D-day. Entertaining movie.

Watched this movie a few times now and decided to pick up a copy, really like that it came with a digital copy as well. It's easily one of the best war flicks out there. Every after holds their own without overshadowing another's performance. The action is amazing, the drama weighs heavy, and the characters really stick with you throughout their individual journeys. Highly recommended for sure.

I don't care what you personal feelings are about Pitt, the guy is a super actor. What's great about this film is he's not the one that's steals the show. I haven't seen anything this good since Defiance. This will go down as one of the greatest war movies of all time. In my opinion the acting and the intensity was every bit as moving as Saving Private Ryan. The cast... I mean every single person on stage was solid. There were no mini B performances here. As I type this I'm trying to recall a war movie that I liked in recent history as much as I like this. Anyone that's gives this a bad review most likely has an agenda. Don't be that person. Watch Pitt at his best and let the judging up to someone else.

What a story! I guess I'd be better served by commenting on the stellar acting and the cinematography and special effects. Suffice it to say they are on a par with the best movies of the genre ever. But the story is what got me. There were a few minor "Hollywood flaws" but overall this movie reminds us of the bravery and suffering many have experienced for those of us in this free country. Finally, I highly recommend the blue ray version over the DVD version as it has the deleted and extended scenes. There were a couple of these scenes that should have been included in the final cut of the movie as they really tied some of the dialogue and decisions together. This movie is highly recommended viewing.

Epic tank movie. It's a fictional story, but the real star is the Sherman "Easy Eight". Movie has a lot of "Hollywoodized" fight scenes that, while the fights wouldn't generally happen that way, they bring up the issues tankers had to face and the different types of combat that did happen (tanks vs. troops & anti aircraft guns, tanks vs. tanks, tanks vs. troops with only hand and shoulder fired weapons and tanks vs aircraft(I.E. hide quickly). It's more about what you have to go through and the situations you could encounter fighting from inside a tin can. This movie has one of the only running Tiger 1's in the world, if nothing else, watch it for that.

Not since Saving Private Ryan has there been such a "realistic war film" of this magnitude, showing the intense portrayal of war and how war damages the human spirit, until now. This is a brilliant study of how it must of felt to be a tank soldier during World War II. These soldiers become so focused with their mission, which is to destroy the enemy at all costs, that survival by any means becomes the main focus and the soul of their world. What appealed to me the most appeared to be the use of real vintage military World War II tanks and of using lifelike effects instead of digital effects. The Blu-ray AV quality is 5 Star along with a great collection of extras. A must-see!!!!!

"Fury" is more than just a tank movie or a war movie. It's a powerful look at the human condition at war. You start out like "Norman". No idea what it is to be in a war. He is assigned to a tank (specifically a M4A3E8, or an Easy 8,) named "Fury" under the tank commander of "Wardaddy" (Brad Pitt's character). Norman, and us the audience, sees the horrors of war and the indiscrimination of death during war. The beauty of life no matter how short that beauty might last. Lastly the honor and sacrifice that brothers in arms make for each other. Watch the movie the first time to watch the movie, afterwards watch it again sometime to see the story of the human condition at war.

This movie gives us another perspective of the hell that our soldiers had to go through during World War II. The acting is good, but the cinematography is outstanding. The movie is very well done showing a lot of detail. The vehicles and weapons in the movie are accurate to WWII. It bothers me when a movie uses U.S. tanks being used by German forces. So, this movie is true to history. You actually get to see the difference between WWII German tanks and U.S. tanks. I believe that this is the first movie that tells the story of a WWII from the perspective of a Sherman tank crew. This movie is very graphic and accurate regarding how soldiers get wounded or killed during battle.
