Very intense movie. That's why we love our soilders for fighting for our country. They had someone or something to believe in.

This movie reminded me of an Oliver Stone "war is hell and is really effed up" anti-war propaganda movie, without any of the redeeming qualities which can also be found during war, such as the comaraderie, brotherhood, mutual trust and friendship which develops among people who spend a lot of time together under difficult circumstances. The director hardly misses a chance to provide terrible examples of inhumanity, crazy, cruel and murderous soldiers, and other ridiculously effed up situations. For every "Fury" tank crew, there were thousands of other tank crews who were truly brothers in arms. While it is true that sometimes, some of these things do happen in war, but the vast majority of our troops act according to the Law of Land Warfare, and acquit themselves honorably in battle. Engaging in War should never be for frivolous reasons, there are times it is a necessary evil to defeat an existential threat. I will file this David Ayer movie under the same category as all Oliver Stone movies which I personally will not watch. This film has none of the redeeming qualities of Saving Private Ryan or Lone Survivor. Watch those instead and skip this one.
