Not since Saving Private Ryan has there been such a "realistic war film" of this magnitude, showing the intense portrayal of war and how war damages the human spirit, until now. This is a brilliant study of how it must of felt to be a tank soldier during World War II. These soldiers become so focused with their mission, which is to destroy the enemy at all costs, that survival by any means becomes the main focus and the soul of their world. What appealed to me the most appeared to be the use of real vintage military World War II tanks and of using lifelike effects instead of digital effects. The Blu-ray AV quality is 5 Star along with a great collection of extras. A must-see!!!!!

Very realistic and 4k and a great sound system really made it realistic

This movie impressed me better than I thought it would. Very enjoyable.

"Fury" is more than just a tank movie or a war movie. It's a powerful look at the human condition at war. You start out like "Norman". No idea what it is to be in a war. He is assigned to a tank (specifically a M4A3E8, or an Easy 8,) named "Fury" under the tank commander of "Wardaddy" (Brad Pitt's character). Norman, and us the audience, sees the horrors of war and the indiscrimination of death during war. The beauty of life no matter how short that beauty might last. Lastly the honor and sacrifice that brothers in arms make for each other. Watch the movie the first time to watch the movie, afterwards watch it again sometime to see the story of the human condition at war.

A good movie that shows what the people including both Allies & Germans had to do to survive til the end of the war. The story tells how a new recruit has to fit into a seasoned, battle tested & battle scared crew. Told to do things by the crews commanding sargent (played by Brad Pitt) againist his nature & what he thinks is completely wrong. Even in war time. Very good battle scenes & tank battle scenes. For WW2 history buffs. One of the last real Tiger tanks to survive the war. Was used for the tank battle between the American Sherman's & the German Tiger tanks. Just that alone is worth getting the movie.

This movie gives us another perspective of the hell that our soldiers had to go through during World War II. The acting is good, but the cinematography is outstanding. The movie is very well done showing a lot of detail. The vehicles and weapons in the movie are accurate to WWII. It bothers me when a movie uses U.S. tanks being used by German forces. So, this movie is true to history. You actually get to see the difference between WWII German tanks and U.S. tanks. I believe that this is the first movie that tells the story of a WWII from the perspective of a Sherman tank crew. This movie is very graphic and accurate regarding how soldiers get wounded or killed during battle.

Good story, good cast. Steel book looks nice esp if you collect these

Good action and acting plus a solid storyline give this one 4 stars.

I purchased a 55" Sharp 4K UHD TV a month or two ago at a sweet price. I wasn't expecting much but to my surprise this is an awesome tv has everything I need and more. Simple to use beautiful picture it seemed to sound ok but I run it through a pioneer elite so I didn't listen to its speakers for any length of time. I also purchased an LG 4k DVD player as an open box sale.. My wife and I are in love with watching movies once again. our old collection of regular DVDs has come to life. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and most of all willing to help. Greg

Entertaining movie to sit and be dragged by the crew of the movie

If you liked Saving Private Ryan you will like Fury. (No Spoilers) The story and characters quickly pull you in and get you hooked. There are some scenes where you want to reach through the screen and smack some characters, and there are others that had me sitting on the edge of my seat gripping the arm rest until my knuckles turned white. If you do not have a stomach for blood and violence this is not the movie for you. If your view of the military is negative this is not a movie for you. If you are neither of those, this IS the movie for you. Then again I could just be a little nostalgic having been in the Army 7 years myself. Best job I ever had.

One of my favorite war movie's great story very exciting.

This is a great war movie. If Saving Private Ryan is a 10 then this is a solid 8.5 There are little inconsistencies you can pick apart if you are a history buff but the main idea of war portrayal for these tank guys is accurately portrayed. As a side note I'm a little disappointed with the picture quality upgrade from Blu-ray now that I have a $2500 Sony 75" 4k tv and a 4k Blu-ray player. I am very picky and am having a hard time being happy with what I spent versus the upgrade in picture quality that I got. Oh well, at least the Sony 75" is nice...…….

Great film with a nice looking steelbook case to go with it

I have been a war movie fanatic since I was about 3 years old. The Battle of the Bulge has always been one of my favorites. I am also a history teacher and World War II is perhaps my favorite topic. Fury is really cool because it adds a level of authenticity using a real tiger tank as well as real Shermans for filming. Effects make you feel like you are right there and although not an actual historical battle film it captures the idea of what wwII tank combat was about. Language is quite strong, but probably realistic. Really liked Shia LeBoeuf's character. Best tank flick since Battle of the Bulge, Patton, and Kelly's Heroes.

This movie is one of the best more movies of all time. And on song classic for sure, not too many movie enthusiast that arm war film junkies will of heard of this one much less I’ve seen it. I urge everyone to watch this. A reference quality transfer to 4K, as it looks incredibly outstanding the detail the colors the vivid realism is truly jaw-dropping. The story is gripping and paced extremely well. Anybody can enjoy this movie, and war in the film junkies will be in paradise while watching.
