Movie was great! This was one of the best out of the year. and the picture quality with a bluray was great

Good quality and color, good move and we got it in the mail so it came on time.

Brad Pitt and company go to war in a Sherman tank in the great and violent World War II epic.

Starts out slow… for the first 3 minutes, then it kicks in and its intense almost for the rest of the movie

Great clean 4K transfer, audio track very nice as well.

All men actors did an awesome good and story was terrific, had to buy this movie, award winning for me

First off let me preface my review summary that I love well executed war movies and with the technology available to movie makers today brings out the realism. Band of Brothers in my opinion is the reference standard on picture, story, and visuals for war movies. This movies had some of these elements but fell short on the story department. There were two many gaps in the backgrounds of what made this rag tag tank drivers to make a believable and compelling group to invest yourself in them. The action was good when it came in the story but the story overall was flat. I was very disappointed as I was told that this movie was better than Saving Private Ryan and that is just not the case. I love tanks especially from WWII and there was only one tank battle scene with a real Panzer Tiger tank which was cool and pretty accurate as to the toughness of the Panzer Tanks. Between that and the finally where they are outnumbered and outgunned were the best parts of the movie and even that lacked realism as you will note when a German Grenade is dropped into the cabin of the Tank and our lone survivor comes back to find his commander dead all in one piece with just the wounds that he sustained from a previous battle. This surprised me the most considering the in the beginning of the movie the newbie tank gunner is asked to clean out the tank of the leftovers from the guy he is replacing and it is pretty gruesome. If you like war movies, tanks, and some pretty cool action scenes this movie is worth a rent and I wished I had done just that. The Blu-Ray transfer itself is top quality and the picture and sound are great just wished it was a better movie that warranted Blu-Ray.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I must admit that I am a big fan of this Genre anyway. Brings back memories of watching the classic WWII films of the 60's & 70's with John Wayne et al.
