One of the better wars movies to be released in a long time! The action is very real and hard hitting. The viewer gets a real life look at what is was like to be a member of a tank crew and the horror of war!

This is a great film that retells the story of the the tank crew that stood their ground in the face of overwhelming opposition. This film also reminds us that war is not pretty and every action honorable. And even as the Germans were facing the end of the war, we get a glimpse of humanity among some of the soldiers.

Not to sure what to expect with pretty boy Brad Pitt at lead, but you remember that he is a versatile actor quickly as well as the other cast members. Good story and action. I saw it on DVD first but the Blu-ray version really helps the picture and sound stand out and give your audio system a workout.

And this movie is violent. I felt that it did accurately portray the bond that is formed by men who have been through the forge of war. I loved everything about this movie and highly recommend it to any one.

An eye to detail war movie that depicts how tough war was and what it was like to be inside a tank in the Second World War.

This movie was AMAZING from beginning to end. Brad Pitt along with all the great cast in this movie did a fantastic job giving the script life. It is a MUST BUY and MUST SEE movie. Phenominal ending.

I knew very little about this movie when I purchased it, outside of who was in it. I was pleasantly surprised. Gritty, heartbreaking, violent, and sometimes funny. The extra disc had some interesting extras;

This is one of 5 best war movies ever. I am a pretty advanced WW II history buff and I found this maybe the most accurate in regards to equipment. The screenplay, not as accurate but still pretty good.

Worth buying. It will have you locked in from beginning to end. Dolby Atmos was incredible on my 11.2 (7.2.4) system, Great height ceiling sound & lots of booming explosions!

This is a great movie and I love watching it multiple times. One thing is the digital being only available through ultraviolet and doesn't give you the option to download to your iTunes.

What a great war film. All the actors really shine in this film.

A little like Saving Private Ryan. A story of a small unit on a mission that in itself has no impact on the big picture but that coupled with the thousand other small battles that were fought everyday added up to victory in WWII. Nicely acted and with excellent production values that give it an authentic feeling.

Either my expectations weren't high or I was expecting something else, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Certainly recommended for any fan of this genre and good acting in general.

I haven't felt this good about a war film since watching Saving Private Ryan. The story is intense, the acting is compelling, the cast is phenomenal, and the visual presentation is remarkable. Great film!

The acting was well done. For a war movie, the plot was like many others, but I struggled to connect with any of the characters. First things first: War is violent and cruel. The director definitely made the point with that. None of the characters had any redemptive qualities and it was difficult to 'connect' with their decisions/actions with each other. I loved Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan; even liked Full Metal Jacket and Platoon as rough movies, but brotherhood movies. But that is because the characters had some humorous or real emotional moments. None of these characters seemed to care about the man to their left and right....but at the end of the day, this is not a movie about brothers, or redemption. The title says it all....

A fairly good depiction of the heart break and ugliness of war. However, it is overloaded with Hollywood stereotypes. But, watch it carefully and you will understand why so many veterans don't want to talk about their battle field experiences, and suffer from PTSD.

Such a great film remastered in 4k for high quality and graphics. This is a must to add to your collection.

The performances were rather strong from all but Logan Lerman. His performance was not bad. However, he was matched up with better actors. The story did a very good job of showing the tough job these tankers had fighting superior enemy tanks and kept me engaged throughout the movie.
