The rules are you may not under any circumstances kill the protaganist in the fist scene. Long live Channing why would you kill him how stupid. Obey the rules!!!!!

Bruce Willis and The Rock are not helping their star power with this kind of acting.... or are they? I fell asleep watching it, such a disappointment.

This movie is not very good and it was very hard to get into. I would not reccommend

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" is a fun action movie based on the G.I. comic books and action figures. It is a sequel to "G. I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" released in 2009. It is filled with fast paced action and some great special affects. The picture quality looks incredible. Details are sharp and the colors are vibrant. The sound is also great with a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 lossless soundtrack. Extras include deleted scenes and commentary. Roadblock, the main character, is played by Dwyane Johnson. General Colton, who is played by Bruce Willis, must stop a Cobra Commander takeover from within the government. The movie is both fun and entertaining.

Retaliation is better than The Rise of Cobra. And when you have Bruce Willis added to the mix, it's hard to go wrong with an action movie. I agree the acting from all those involved isn't as good as Willis, but the storyline is good, the special effects are well done, and the action is pretty cool ...especially the mountain-side martial arts battle!

Great follow up to the franchise with some character changes many including myself cant agree with.(no spoilers here) But still a feel good fun flick lacking just a little bit of what made the original the surprise hit it was. Still one for the collection for a little blown up fun action.

This movie has it all; cool military hardware, stuff blowing up and over-the-top action; and of course The Rock! The story is your typical "bad guy trying to take over the world" scenario. So, if you want a deep plot, read a book. The 3D blew me away. It looked as though many of the combat scenes were planned with 3D in mind. I only found Avatar's 3D better which is mostly because of a more interesting landscape. The sound is fantastic; better crank up the sub-woofer! I found nothing bad about this movie.

Gunslingers, like the old western movies, weather man is normal or a super person, somebody always think they should be in charge because they believe they are better than the rest of us. If it wasn't for the rest of us they wouldn't have anybody else to compare to themselves.

I saw the movie and it was hot. I liked it so much that I saw it again and the action-packed sequences were great. I loved it from the beginning to the ending when The Rock worked with Bruce Willis for the first time and it was fantastic to see them together as a tag team like they do in wrestling, they were fighting against an evil band of Cobras and they did a number on them and they survived together. It was fantastic.

If you liked the first film then you'll definitely like this one. The action is great! We weren't pleased to see who dies but its good to give the spot light to others. Overall decent film.

This version makes the film better in my opinion but there's still more that's left to be desired. Looking forward for the next one.

If you are a GI Joe fan then this is worth getting and adding to your collection!

I saw G.I.Joe Retaliation in 3D on the Ultra Screen in Elgin after NISRA

Good solid movie. My grandsons and I both enjoyed it very much.

Even with my brain turned off and looking for a fun popcorn movie, this movie just falls flat.
