This is summer escapism, plain and simple. Not character development, throw-away dialogue, big SFX, and goofy fun.

It was a great, fun ride. I always wanted to see a live action gi joe movie and this one did not disappoint.

Not a bad movie actually. Was pleasantly surprised. Plus this one came with movie cash to see the sequel!

Good fast pace movie, very gearded for a good home theater +, Hi-Def looked good, kinda silly movie but enjoyable.

GI Joe updated and made even better being on blu-ray. The extra features plus the bonus copy disc just makes it even better. Finally get to see the Joe characters played by real people and not just animated anymore.

Fun movie, good characters and some jokes to the old school Hasbro Fans.

This is a fun movie especially if you grew up with the toys.

Really fun movie - thrill-ride action, great special effects. A must for anyone who has ever enjoyed GIJoe action figures, cartoons, etc. - or who has kids/grandkids who have.

While excited for this movie, I'm disappointed at how they went about bringing it to life. The story could have been better and the acting less cheesy. It seemed too cartoon like for me. I wanted a more raw, action hero movie.

I enjoyed this movei and hope they continue the stories in this fashion. The picture and sound were exceklent in the Blue-Ray format.

This movie was just ok: average acting, storyline a bit empty, special effects got a little cheesy at some points, but otherwise this was ok. It's sequel (Retaliation) is much better.

This movie is a good adrenaline rush for the action and sci-fi crowd. This is definitely one to own.

...I watched Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Then, I realized why I thought I had seen the GI joe movie before, because they copied half of what happened in the star wars movie. Like the battles between the mini-subs looks exactly like the fights between the starfighters in space. Then, the white ninja has a double ninja sword (Darth Maul and his double light saber). Also, when the white ninja dies, he gets cut in half and falls down a long shaft, just like Darth Maul. There are still tons of other similarities, too, but I can't remember all of them.

I've seen both movies and I have to say I like this one better than the new one!

That movie is really amaizing. Visual effects and audio the best... watch it folks..

This was a very fun movie. Better than I thought it was going to be with the plot twists and such, but what's the deal with the super suits?! Lame.

This is a great action flick and blueray makes it so much better.

Picked this up on sale. Good movies at a good price.

this is a must watch movie, and definately must own
