    Perfect for time machine backups on new MacBook Pro with USB-C port. A cheaper drive with USB A made for Windows PC’s could be reformatted and used with an adapter.

    Got this hard drive to back up my new MacBook Pro as it came with the USB C cable as well as the previous USB version cable. The only negative it’s a little slow but it does the job
