    For what I am using the G-Tech Drive for, s-i-m-p-l-e backups, it is adequate. One has to remember this is a Western Digital product. So, none of their software (nothing, zero, nada) is compatible with Microsoft Windows. If using with Windows you will have to do a basic and complete old style setup.........mapping, setting volumes, formatting, initiating, and all that goes with the process.
