    I bought this hard drive to use as a back up for my mac mini. I use time machine for the back up process. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it in, turned it on, and it immediately showed up on my mac's desktop. Flawless as it should be. Runs great!! There is a small light that lights up under the G icon when it is turned on. Slight noise when it is on but nothing that is bother some for me. Love this product.

    I'm a couple months in to owning this guy- so far so good. Thunderbolt, Usb 3.0, and 7200rpm internal drive make this drive solid. Would've been nice to have two Thunderbolt ports to allow daisy chaining, but for the price, still great.

    I use this external drive to backup and transfer large video files from my home computer to work place. Very ridgid so I do not worry about damage. Also the bright color makes it stand out to find easily. No need to worry about running out of storage. Very helpful on productivity!!
