Season 2 of Game of Throne I am a big fan of this series.

This review is a cinch. Normally, I avoid all things popular (I'm some sort of "hipster) but this item was on sale and it is dubbed in a dozen languages with subtitles for maybe twenty languages. I listen to this in German whilst walking on my treadmill. It's not like I understand what they are saying but so what? There's Saxon violence. Yes, and an immense wall of ice. That's pretty much all I need to know.

I was one of the few people who hadn't watched GoT yet. I was browsing the aisles at my local best buy when I saw the Blu-ray seasons on sale. Like $25 it was. The first couple of episodes were slow to start but it started to build up and now my wife and I are hooked. Next thing I know we finished the season in 2 days. My only gripe is that the set comes in like 5 Blu-ray discs and like 2 episodes per disc. Why???

I purchased season 1 on a killer black Friday sale a couple years ago and watched half of it before life got too busy to finish. Recently I was able to re-watch all of season 1 and the last episode left me hanging so I bought season 2 and the last episode left me hanging so I bought season 3 and the last episode left me hanging so I bought season 4. This immersive series will have you coming back for back for back for more.

Game of thrones is an amazing series. My wife and I actually watch it on HBO-Go all the time and previously owned copies on DVD. We wanted to be able to watch it offline and high definition. It definitely pays off because it feels like you are part of the action while the series is playing. Best part is that it also came with regular DVDs so if we are traveling and need something to watch in the hotel then we can bring along the dvds!

I'm starting to see what the interest is all about.

Hands Down one of the, if not the, best shows on television today. Majestic in it's scope and each character is beautifully portrayed. This set features all 10 episodes from Season 2 and is housed in a beautiful steelbook packaging that also comes with a magnet of the Lannister House Symbol. Season 2 picks up right where 1 left off and takes the characters to darker places and stranger lands.

I haven't been this captivated by a television series in the 42 years I've walked this earth purchased the first 2 seasons shortly after I played the telltail game on Xbox after watching the first episode I picked up the remaining 3 seasons and was bummed out once I finished watching the final episode of the 5th season thankfully the show is still going just stinks that I have to wait to see more haha

I was drawn into caring for the honorable and wishing failure on the evil. The special effects suspended my disbelief of the fantasy elements. I found a balance of drama, small scene action and big scene action rich with details. The broad scope events were presented with timely revelations. It was fun to imagine myself in the story or in each characters place. It took self control to not watch the whole season in one sitting.

Since the source material is already becoming legendary I'll focus on the Blu-ray experience. In a word (or two?): top-notch. The packaging, the extras, the clarity of the picture are all fantastic. Included are extra's that allow you to constantly remind your self which family is who and why are they doing what they do. I really appreciate the previous episode recap that proceeds each chapter - very helpful,

Game of Thrones is one of the best shows available. Unfortunately, unless you subscribe to HBO, DVD is the best way to enjoy it. It is much better to sit down and watch an entire season sequentially than to have to wait from week to week. The rich plot, fascinating characters (although it is hard to keep them all straight), and magnificent staging make this a show that it is hard to stop watching.

What can you say, it's the Game of Thrones, one of the best series out there. I was watching it faithfully on HBO until we moved. I don't get HBO currently, so started collecting the series on DVD. This particular set gives you the Blu-Ray discs, and the ability to activate it online so you can watch anywhere you have internet. Great product and I will be buying the rest of the seasons.

I don't have HBO so for the longest time I kept hearing about GOT. Friends had it on Blu-Ray and let me borrow the first 4 seasons. I've been hooked since the first episode. If you're a fan you know what I mean. I decided to go ahead and buy them to have for my collection so I can binge watch anytime. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and at least watch the first season.

The second season was just as thrilling as the first! My oldest daughter was home on winter break and we binge-watched the entire 2nd season in one day! I read the books years ago and it was fun trying to remember the characters. What a feat to put that world on the screen! For anyone who enjoys adventure and doesn't mind a lot of gore, this is a must see series!

A good addition to the GoT series, however I think the second season is the lesser part of the current three seasons. The first half of the second season drags while the second half ratchets things up substantially. Peter Dinklage is awesome as Tyrion. The action is brutal and the backstabbing/plotting is stellar. Easy to burn through a couple episodes at a time and wonder where the time went.

I didn't think I would like Game of Thrones because I thought it was all about dungeons and dragons, things I'm not really into. After the first episode of season 1, I was hooked! The show really makes you feel like you're part of the characters' lives and in their shoes. And, spoiler alert, it's not all about dungeons and dragons. Highly recommend to anyone!

It's Game of Thrones. There's no point in discussing the merits of the series here; it's well established that it's fantastic. Rather, the picture and sound quality are outstanding. The extras allow those who have read the books (Or not) appreciate the more nuanced references in the episodes and lend to a greater appreciation of the series in general. You won't be dissatisfied.

Game of Thrones only disappointing if you are just not into it. They will kill your favorite character , the bad guys will win and when you think you have it all figured out. It changes. The Blu-Ray set really has one fall back and that is the 5/6 Blu-Rays for 10 Episodes. Seems silly. But it is a small petty issue that does not effect the ability to enjoy the show.

Game Of Thrones has been nothing but intriguing. Leaving wanting more and not wanting to wait for the following weeks new episode or for that matter start of the next season. A must see, from season one to the current season. One of the few series lasting more than 3 seasons that I've ever bothered with purchasing every single season set.

This season of game of thrones with an amazing continuation of the first season. I couldn't stop watching it I actually went through the whole season in just a few days. Now I'm up-to-date on season five and getting ready to watch the season finale today. It's an amazing show I highly recommend it to anybody who has a thing for that type of stuff.
