The Game of Thrones has such great character detail and development that you feel you are there. Each episode leaves you anxious for the next. It is as though "The Tudors" merged with "the Hobbit". You feel as though it is historical and then you realize, "Wait, this couldn't be true!"

I do not subscribe to HBO. This second DVD set in the series allows me to enjoy this award-winning series on my TV at my leisure. The effects, story line, costumes, and acting are first rate. I plan on collecting the entire series as the DVD sets are released.

Game of Thrones is an incredible series and all seasons are amazing in scope and character development. The fantasy elements are intriguing, but the driving force of interest is watching how far people would go for their own ends without a measure of control.

I got this first season along with the second one while it was on sale. The sales person recommended this and the reviews recommend this. Now I am recommending this. IF you're a newbie like me wait until they are on sale and rack up on the seasons like I did!

The plot and the entire storyline are well written and you never know what is going to happen next. In most movies and series, everyone expects the Good Guys to win. In this Series, it is written with intrigue and suspense, and twists around every corner. Bravo!!! Well Done.

The second season of GOT does not disappoint at all. The second season adds new characters into the story seamlessly. It continues great story telling and is full of complex and deep characters. Game of Thrones is a must own so you can enjoy the show for years to come.

I feel like this series completed me ! This was by far the most spectacular series I have ever bought! I won't even let family or friends borrow it as they may scratch a disc!

Great Blu ray set with the digital downloads feature so I watch it anywhere! Love the show this was a great season and if you love the show then this is a must have! What more can you ask for if you love the Lord of the Rings you''ll love this too!

My husband is a huge Game of Thrones fan. Whenever the dvds go on sale we purchase them so he can watch whenever he wants. Eventually we will collect all the seasons. These are great for those that ditched cable & need to catch up on their favorite show.

Having just started watching the series (I don't have cable), I am impressed with the quality of the acting, directing, cinematography, and writing. I especially like the strong female characters. Almost everyone should get hooked on GOT.

Started watching the Game of Thrones season recently and it keeps on getting more exciting with every episode! Got this season with Blu-ray and digital copy and that is great because the digital copy can be viewed on your mobile devices like my iPhone or iPad!

this show is amazing when i started watching this show less then 4 months ago i didn't even know this show existed. now i cant wait till season 3 comes out so i can add it to the collection. this is a great series that people should watch. u wont regret it that's for sure.

Travel a lot and don't have cable at homes. Started watching GoT in hotels but was a bit lost on whose who. Saw a special for season 1 and 2 for $20 each. Had $35 of reward points. Two seasons for $5. Great deal and the Blueray has plenty of extras.

Taking advantage of the special price on the first 3 season. I always knew I would love the show but now I can blow through most of it to prepare for the last couple season. I only wish they would have put more than 2 episodes per disc.

Absolute magic.At a loss for words all I can honestly say is that I really liked it. I was not into the dragon thing;I guess a little contempt prior to investigation, but I really enjoyed it. Look forward to buying the next season. I'm hooked now

If you haven't been watching this series - STOP WAITING! With an expansive cast of characters and plots as well as very high production values, it is one of the finest shows ever on tv, and now you can own it and watch it anytime! What are you waiting for?

The creation of this show is very amazing and well thought out. The cast was picked out with great care. Never mind the impressive job Rowling did with the family tree in potter. This blows that away. A couple times to watch at least to make sure nothing is missed.

I just got this about a month ago and I'm very glad I went to bestbuy to get it the limited edition steelbook packaging is really cool its a lot better then the regular blu ray version I would definitely recommend this to any game of thrones fan.

If your going to follow a series this is it. You will not be disappointed if you decide to order seasons one through three. It keeps you guessing on who will be around for the next season. You must be patient while caricature development but it well worth the wait.

I missed the first 3 seasons of this great tv series. Buying the seasons that I missed has really helped me understand what was going on when I started watching this show in season 4. I love that I can watch the season all at once. Caught up really fast
