I don't have HBO as a part of my tv subscription, but I was seeing all of the hype about this series, so I signed up for HBO Now/Go for a free month trial. I watched through all of the seasons of Game of Thrones during the trial. All seasons are all really good. They are definitely adult only, but they have a story line that pulls you in and you can't wait to see what happens next. I'm glad I didn't have to wait for a week between episodes. I bought the BluRay sets so i can own them, and also for the special features. I may have to get HBO for a month when season 7 starts. I have preordered season 6 which comes out on BluRay in November.

There is not much I can think of to say that wouldn't be a spoiler. I got into this series LATE, like last Christmas someone gifted me season 1 (they are currently filming season 6 I believe). It was hard to get into at first but now Im hooked. There are plenty of twists in the story, to me. As my husband says, "You start to like/love someone and, BOOM, something happens to that character that upsets you!" I hate the Lanisters with a passion (except the imp, we like tyrion). Take my word, if you liked season 1, season 2 does not disappointed with action! I don't wish to give anything away so that is all I will say. Great series!

I really liked the extra features on this set as they help you get a better understanding of the characters.

The first season of an exciting series. It has elements of Arthurian legend, action, drama and mythology.

What can I say, it's GOT! Great story lines. There are deviations from the book series (which everyone who's a fan of this show should read if they haven't already), and some characters left out, but nothing really earthshaking. The best thing about this adaptation is the acting, especially, in my opinion, the actors who play Tyrion and Arya. There's not as much gratuitous hanky-panky as in the first season (most of which are NOT in the books), but, WARNING, a really sadistic character is introduced with some very disturbing scenes. Definitely no children should watch!

For a show that had such a captivating and successful first season, they had quite the task to match the accomplishment of Season 1. Safe to say they did just that! Of course if you remember how Season 1 ended, there's no doubt you wanted to rush straight to Season 2 and see where the story takes you and the fate of certain characters. And don't even get me on Season 2's final scene. Whoo, boy, no spoilers but it'll send shivers.

Continuing where the first season left off, season two of Game of Thrones not only continues the story, but also the incredible scope, scale, and tone of this series. Excellent writing and dialogue, with and incredibly interesting plot. The characters, however, and their constant developments are what makes this show what it is. The universe it creates is also both interesting and visually appealing. The blu-ray copy of this season looks and sounds fantastic, and Best Buy provides a fair price. This is one show you don't want to miss.

I have not watched this yet but decided to pick up the first two seasons with this good sale.

After deciding I needed to watch this series from the beginning after reading the books, I starting shopping for the videos. I was unable to find a better price even on Amazon. The Dolby sound is also compatible with my Polk audio sound bar, unlike the boxed versions. These come in the traditional blue plastic case, unlike the foldout cardboard earlier versions, so if you want the additional graphic art on the packaging, maybe you would prefer the original version, but this set takes up less space and is a bargain price.

Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are two of the only shows I watch faithfully. Both are edge-of-your-seat, but GOT also has a lot of ahem...adult affection. Sort of a win-win. In anticipation of the upcoming season, I bought these for a Christmas vacation binge. Since it's five discs, the quality is very good (as opposed to the 2 discs for TWD, which is pretty good, but not HD). As any GOT fan knows, don't get too attached to the characters because the writer loves to kill them off and give you feels.

not much to say really its Game of Thrones blueray. What else do you need to know?

Always heard good things about this show but we don't have HBO. I am so happy we waited until it was released with the full season on Blu-Ray so we don't have to wait in between episodes! Each episode leaves you hanging and wanting more so having to wait to find out what happens would kill me! Love the quality of the show, the actors are great and the plot is intriguing. We haven't gotten into the extras included in the set yet but I am interested to check them out and get some Behind the Scenes information.

Price was good so thought I would start watching this here fancy show

This season kept me tuned in and wanting to watch the next season.

This is an exceptional way to enjoy a show that will amaze and shock you. There is a digital copy that I use with my VUDU account that allows me to watch on my phone and tablet. There's also DVD and Blu-ray so I can watch on any of my devices. This season takes it up a notch from season one, the scenes are bigger, the characters are more devious and there are some that truly made me hate them. Which is a great example of acting. Beware you will get hooked.
