4th Season and it's still very strong. Shocker moments galore, a cliffhanger ending, and all the violence, lust and story line we've all come to expect from the Game of Thrones series. Character development continues, the story arcs are amazing, picture quality is unmatched, sound track is flawless. What else can I say? It's the 4th season, if you loved the first 3, you're going to love this one too.

Peter Dinklage gives an amazing performance as the Imp Tyrion in the 4th season of this epic saga that continues to amaze on HBO. I won't give away any plot points for those who have not seen it yet, but if you are late to the game on this one (no pun intended) then you had best take the time to catch up as this series will blow you away with what TV shows are accomplishing these days. #gamchanger

The remainder of George R.R. Martin's third book, A Storm of Swords, still remains a treasure trove of trauma. Season 4 lacked assured direction and had some big omissions, but it made up for it in some really compelling arcs for Arya, Sansa, Tyrion, and Jon Snow . Bran may have vanished halfway through the season, but he appeared right at the end to raise the stakes. With no more war, and no Stark (or Baratheon) soldiers actively battling Lannisters, everything now becomes about each characters' individual journey. The Blu-ray set had great behind the scenes extras, histories and lore, and a documentary special on Episode 9, “The Watchers on the Wall”. My favorite extra “The Fallen: A Roundtable,” is a special where Game of Thrones writer Bryan Cogman gathered together most of the actors who died this season and had them talk about their experience on the show. DEFINITELY GET THE BLU-RAY EDITION.

Goofy packaging configurations with this series, especially when this one only has DTS HD Master. Returned it unopened and got the steel box version with Dolby ATMOS. It you have the equipment, the ATMOS experience is 100% more enjoyable ... to us. This season is fine if you haven't upgraded to ATMOS yet, but if you plan to - make sure to get the right version in advance.

After looking everywhere for Game of Thrones DVDs (as compared to Blue-Ray) this was the only place I could find the Season 4 complete set at a comparable price to other places like Amazon. Amazon did not have the DVDs for season 4, it only had it in Blue Ray, which will not work in my older DVD player. I will continue to keep my eyes open for future purchases of DVDs. Thanks guys!

GOT has done it again! Not only was better than last season, this show just keeps getting better! Casting is great and story is the best on TV! Pick this up and you will not regret it!

The Game of Thrones 4th Season is only making me yearn for the 5th season even more! - I am seriously thinking about ordering HBO for the upcoming 5th season. Then again i may not due to the fact that i cant only watch just one episode. i need to watch at least three back to back! so everyone who reads this go to Best Buy and get all the seasons and have a Game of Thrones marathon.

Game of Thrones is a great saga deep in character.

As with other seasons, lots of main characters die. Without spoilers, I'll say that one death in particular was necessary for developing a major characters ethos and pathos, but that doesn't make the death any easier to take. The addition of digital HD downloads makes this a no-brainer. I was able to add this season to both my permanent iOS collection and my Flixster account.

I don't get cable or HBO, so buying these DVD sets (on BLU-ray, for me) is the only way I can watch the show*. Thanks to everyone on the internet for not disclosing any spoilers about the fourth season for the last six months or so, while I was waiting for these DVD sets to be made available for purchase! *(... without getting into legal trouble with HBO and their lawyers.)

Game of Thrones is a beautiful and striking show, a definite must watch for any lover of the Fantasy genre. This box set itself it great, the quality is nice, sturdy and obviously made to last. The inside box opens up in an almost accordion style book and each disk gets its own page that are each decorated with different main characters from the show.

I bought the Blue Ray version of Season 4 and found that the added features are wonderful. There is a selection bar that allows you to get additional information on the characters, geographical location and history of each scene in Season 4. It really helps to jog the memory from the previous three seasons. This season is a great addition to the preceding three seasons.

As mentioned in my review of the Season 3 box set, not a whole lot to be said for this show that hasn't already been written. Yet another amazing season that starts off with a bang and continues to unravel great intrigue and excitement along with twists aplenty. The packaging, as with the previous seasons, is top notch with plenty of bonuses.

We are binging on 'GOT', I purchased the first two seasons and sadly the store was closed after midnight. We had to wait for the next day to get this plus the remaining seasons. We looked for max features like the commentary overlay to the shows so we could watch the episodes a second time and gain insights. This set was just right, loving it!

So many twists and turns the writer George R R Martin is the Picasso or Dali of writing and the series is phenomenal the acting is even better! So many characters you Love, Hate, identify with, root for or against. So many things you watch these days you know exactly what is gonna happen next, not so here season ending cliff hangers (way better than who shot JR).

We power-watched the GOT series from season 1 through season 6 within approx 2 months. We are leading up to the series finale a week from tomorrow. We ended up purchasing ALL 6 seasons from Best Buy after shopping around because they had ABSOLUTELY the best price by almost $10 each. Can't wait to buy season 7 when it hits blue ray!!

I love this show and look forward to the blu-ray release date every new season. Granted I binge watch the crud out of it when it comes out. And in an age of streaming media and on demand TV, I still wait for the disc release. Nothing digital has been able to match the picture and sound quality of blu-ray - so I will continue to buy the discs until that day comes.

GOT is pretty awesome and this was a chance for me to get one of the seasons I was missing with the added benefits of super duper blu-ray and also a digital copy. Glad for the opportunity to get this collection in this format at a pretty good price from Best Buy.

Me and my wife were late about getting into watching the series "Game of Thrones" but ended up watching Season One thru Three in a weeks time and Just bought Season 4. After researching places that sell the different seasons Best Buy has been the most consistent (they have had each season available) but also the lowest (not used) price!!

It is nice to have your own copy of each Game of Thrones season just to help you refresh your memory on the very large number of characters. Just don't tell your friends that you have a copy. Since HBO took all but the latest seasons off their demand list new watchers are scrounging for a way to get catch up on who is on who's side.
