the weakest of the seasons, still a good binge watch.

Great war scenes. Ending was ok, not much of a bang.

I have all of them, how could I missed the last one! I watched only first season but couldn’t accept the end of the first season (I mean in the good way) I know it is silly that own it but never watched it. I willing to watch it as marathon. I own most of HBO show which some show I owned almost ten years! During the pandemic I have a chance to watched six feet under, Pacific and aim to watch GOT .. hopefully before ending of pandemic or my office calling me back to work at the office :) Buy it especially steel book version!

A must have for fans of the show to end the series.

This is the last season of game of thrones series.

I have been waiting to finish watching GOT which I started years ago on Netflix , then HBO got greedy and took it off Netflix forcing you to subscribe to their crappy service which I refused to do. The GOT DVD sets are very pricey, I managed to get sesson 6 & 7 on sale at Best Buy and glad I did. Now just have to watch the final season on HBO which I temporarily subscribed to to watch WW1984 and rewatched GOT season 5 to re visit it, I afraid to watch season 8 because of how season 7 ended with one of the dragons being killed by the Night King and ...well you know what happens when something is killed by him...

What can I say about GOT other than a television show like this only comes around once in a lifetime and I'm just glad that I was here enjoy the ride! Now that being said however doesn't negate the fact that they completely messed the entire series up with that meniacal stupid ending. They built the entire series up to this big gigantic climactic end only to let the entire fan base down with this disappointing ending. Can you say reshoot!

I pretty much feellike much of the community when it comes to this movie I thought the season overall wasn't too great but the series overall was fantastic. I had to complete my collection and with this purchase I did exactly that.

The eighth season is the official end of the GOT saga and it turned out differently than I had hoped but probably the only way it could have given the people, personalities, and events. It ties up the loose ends and lets the truth be told finally while leaving a sliver of an opening for continuance. I really enjoyed this season, but think it could have been better if they hadn't cut down the number of episodes and given the characters more time to work through the ultimate solutions.

Yeah... yeah... I watched it on HBO as well... but all of those endless nighttime battles with the armies of the dead are so much better defined in the blu-ray set... When it originally aired, I recall not being able to see the background. Issue resolved, and the endless battles are so engrossing as a result. I have all the prior seasons, so it was a no brainer getting this one as well. The usual in-depth/background add-ons are included. GoT fans will love this...

This season was good but not as good as previous ones. It seemed to be rushed thru the 6 episodes to the ending. The story line didn't have time to fully develop. But what there was is very good. The video was very good. But some scenes were very dark for long stretches of time. I couldn't see what was happening. The audio was O.K. As for the ending, it was kind of a let down. But it was left open for future sequels for varies characters.

This gets a lot of slack for how it finished, but it still is an amazing season for the Game of Thrones franchise. My only problem with this last season was the build up to the confrontation with the Night King was done before the end of the season. Outside of that, I believe the last season was still pretty great. It has to end at some point, right? Oh well. You can't please everyone. The Queens have very interesting endings.

Purchased Eighth and Final Season of the long running Game of Thrones series to complete my collection. Episodes leading up to the final chapter answered many questions raised the previous seven seasons. The final, culminating episode, depending on your sentiments and expectations, was either exciting, disappointing, shocking, inconclusive or satisfying! Ending not exactly as I was expecting, but, never-the-less, most enjoyable!

What can I say what hasn't already been said before. Your either gonna LOVE this season or you're not. Sure it wasn't the best season of the series, but it was not as bad as people carry on about. If you are a true GOT fan from the beginning like I am you gotta love it regardless. Not only that I got an awesome price on it for BF and this was the last season I needed to complete my enitre GOT collection. :)

We all know of the controversy surrounding this season. However, you might as well purchase the 8th and final season of "Game of Thrones" because you're going to want to watch ALL of the special features and behind-the-scenes look into how and why this groundbreaking show ended the way it did. Now, we have to wait and see whether or not the books will end the same way.

Definitely the ending NO ONE wanted, but an epic ending. For the fans from the beginning it was shown that nothing is what is expected and in this end it was demonstrated. Slaughter battles, unexpected unions and an outcome of epic proportions. To see without stopping each episode that this time exceeds the hour in duration.

I am not going to over what the show is about. However, I will say that the episode in season 8 that caused everyone to adjust the contrast on their televisions to try and see what was going on is greatly improved in the 4K Ultra HD release. The action sequences make more sense know that you can see exactly what is going on. However, I did have an issue trying to retrieve the digital copy from HBO’s website.

the reality is that this GOT season 8 included 3 discs. However, instead of 1-3 it contained 1-2 & 2. I was allowed to exchange it in store for correctly packed season . DVDs are not usually exchangeable but this clearly was defective . thanks you so much Best Buy this was the last season of my binge and the last DVD of the last season was pretty big on my list
