If it wasn't for season 8 then Game of Thrones would probably go down as one of the best TV shows to have ever existed but it may now fall out of anyone's top ten because of the dreadfully short S8. Anyways the quality of this 4K UHD is a show stopper and it nothing short of amazing. The detail of everything you see episode to episode is strikingly amazing and awesome and the score is at the top of its game.

The writers, cast, and crew wrap up the saga in style. Plenty of jaw dropping twists and turns even for those fans who were certain they had figured out how it would end. The series will go down in history with The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and very few others as the elevation of art to a previously unknown level.

Love the show but doesn’t let you stop at one point and start back up where you left off later. It always starts back at the beginning of the episode which is frustrating. Would have preferred the original dvd version versus the Blu-ray version. Sound seems to be weak on the Blu-ray version. Had to watch with the subtitles on.

With all the hype about the final season , I viewed this openly and without prejudice. This was the first I saw the final season. I must say I enjoyed it very much and frankly there was no other way for it to end than the way they finalized it. It ended with a beginning. It is always sad to see a favorite show come to an end , but killing must stop at some point to give way to life.

Alot of people online were disappointed with the Game of Thrones ending. My wife and I were very cautious after the let down that was season 7 but we both agree that season 8 redeemed the series and the ending was very well done and unexpected. This ending really ties up the series nicely. It would be nice to see some more content in the future just to see how things work out.

The bluray version of the GOT season 8 is excellent quality. Comes with Digital copy that ports over to VUDU or whatever streaming service you use. Even though there were not as many episodes as previous seasons, I found this final chapter of this climatic saga entertaining and not at all predictable. Worth watching if you enjoy this genre.

I really just got it to complete the set. Certainly wasn't the best season, and all the scenes with the coffee cups and water bottles had been taken out. Too bad.

This to me was the worst season of Game of thrones but still worth watching if you're already invested from watching the other 7 seasons worth of Game of thrones.

For those that complained about episode three.. this solves it completely. You have to experience game of thrones in native 4k HDR. The stunning differences in true black levels combined with bright fiery HDR scenes makes this a must-have for any fan. I wish they remastered the entire series but I could not resist picking this up and I was certainly not disappointed.

I have been a GOT fan since the beginning, but did not buy season 8 until later because I had seen mixed reviews about it. I think that it was worth purchasing to help tie up the loose ends of the story. I agree that the night-time battle scene, which was shot in the dark for realism, made it difficult to see the action. The ending itself was somewhat bittersweet but I won't give it away because a few people might not have yet seen it.

Just buy it! The story is incredible, casting is perfect , I cannot say enough about GoT. Hooked from Season 1 Episode 1; and it got better every week/season. 1 drawback - actual time. From start to end, actual time 8 seasons, almost 9 years. We watched the children on the show become adults. It does NOT get any better than this! ENJOY!!!!!!!!

I will miss this show terribly!!! Six episodes is not enough to wrap this Series Up!!! I’m angry about that. It felt rushed and it shouldn’t have been. After 7 seasons the fans deserved more than this. This story should have continued to its proper ending. I would only recommend this with a warning not to plan on having closure.

This steelbook boxed set is great, comes with Season 8 on blu ray discs and on 4K discs, and yes the 4k is amazing. Outstanding detail you would miss on blu ray or streaming on HBO. Of course you need a good 4K tv and a soundbar will help with Dolby Atmos audio because the sound is amazing too.

I love the Best Buy Steelbooks. It is the only way to buy PHYSICAL media anymore. This has become a digital world but I still love the feeling of a box and disc in my hand and this is a great set!! Now we all know the ending of GOT sucked but as a completist, I had to have the last season!!!

I got this on sale at Best Buy. I was able to shop around to see if I could find a better price for this item. Best Buy was fair and competitive with there pricing and they were very good with the staffing due to the covic-19 virus going around. Everyone was following the safety guidelines.

I was upset by the packaging since two of the disc slots were broken upon arrival, however the discs luckily weren't scratched so I was able to watch the entire season with no issues (I love this show!), only now I have to store them in jewel cases instead of the original case it came in, but still an excellent series!

Like many I also found this last season to be rushed in many ways. I do love that now I can see better in episode 3 The Long Night.

Say what you will about season 8, and believe me, I can say A LOT, but it was shot beautifully and for a TV show to feature Dolby Atmos is unheard of. And it's so worth it for this type of show. The 4K looks incredibly good, especially in dark scenes (like the battle on Winterfell)
