Many don’t like the ending to GoT but they did a good job keeping the audience guessing until the final show. Superb acting and storytelling of a story that was never finished by the Author. Would love to see his version

GoT season 8 brought us to a the end of a long journey. Was everyone happy with the ending....of course not. But I could live with the how fates of the final characters played out. I think that 6 episodes was too rushed. Just one extra episode to help to set up the audience for Dany's transition would have better served. And let's not even get started on Cersei's ending. The behind the scenes bonus features on disc 3 were informative. And I think that they improved the degree of lighting for episode 3 "The Long Night". I was able to see much more detail on hte blu ray than when I watched the aired episode. . My only real issue/complaint with this Blu Ray set, was with the steel book packaging. This set consists of 3 Blu Ray discs and 3 4K Ultra Blu Ray discs. The trouble is that the 3 discs are stacked on the same same holder with no protective layer between discs. Three blu ray discs are stacked on one inner door of the steel book casing and the 4K Ultra Blu-ray discs are stacked on the other inner door. The discs were extremely difficult to remove and I was worried about breaking the disc (or the holder ring). As a result I purchased a blu ray replacement casing designed to hold 3 discs to house my GoT discs separately from the steel book casing. While the dragon glass arrow head magnet is a great collectible, Marketing should have put more effort into including disc holders that were easier to get to and that provided a protective layer between discs. It seemed rushed....just like the season 8 story arc.

Game of Thrones was an epic journey that made my daily hour on the elliptical fly by. Yes, the finale wasn’t as spectacular as the season, but there is a prequel series in the making for those of us starving for more!

This was a "must watch" and quickly became a television event for millions of fans around the world - its true that die hard fans always have issues with the way a popular show ends but you have to see it to decide.

I felt the need to purchase this season since I already have all the other seasons. The 4K edition looks amazing and it came with the digital copy prior to release date to watch while I wait for the disk to ship.

This was shorter than any other season, so in not happy about that and there seemed to be plot twists that were stretching the story further away source material. But it's Game of Thrones... you win or you die.

8th Season was great! It's a shame it had to end. My wife and I had bought the entire series up to the 6th season when it came out then purchased the 7th season when it came out. HBO knocked it out of the park.

Season 8 is the final season, so if you’ve been collecting all of the steelbooks, this is a must-have. The steelbook & magnet are really nicely designed. It includes 4K along with the Blu-ray’s & digital copy.

I'm not as bothered by the ending of Game of Thrones as most people. But I do admit that there was a noticeable drop off in the quality of the writing on the show for it's final season. The series ending would have benefited from Martin's books and writing style, but give the show writers some slack because Martin hasn't writing the ending yet. Despite this, the action was great and the actors did a great job with the scripts they were given. I think the last season would have been even better if they had another couple of episodes to document Dany's abrupt change and flesh out some of the plot twists.

Awesome Ive waited along time for this to come out, I believe it was worth the wait. Cant wait to see whats next on the horizon hope they keep the series going in some sort of manner Love this Stuff !

All darkness and blur dropped away (remember the "Long Night") and the sound was crystaline. It was such a treat to see it as it could be rendered by a fine A/V system. Streaming just gets one so far.

This was one of the best dramatic series ever produced for television--and I go back to 1950's tv! While this season did not match up to the 2 previous seasons, it was still quite good. Sad to see it end.

While some question the direction the show I personally thought it was masterful, not only in the acting but how it looked and sounded. I think it's the greatest show ever to be put on television.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is full of action, suspense and surprises. The Stark family is reunited. Jon discovers who his real father and mother are. Winterfell is host to some unwanted guests.

Love this TV series, best series that has ever came out. Season 8 wasn't the greatest of all the seasons because it was rushed and had a horrible ending BUT the show plays great on the discs.

The last season of an outstanding series had battles, intrigue, and the excellent cast. First 5 episodes were really good, but episode seemed like they ran out of gas (or money). Still happy with it.

The Game of Thrones is by far the best series on cable television. Like always great characters and full of surprises. If you haven't seen all the seasons I would suggest you start from the beginning.

This series will suck you in so fast. I resisted it for seven years and then binged the entire thing in less than a month. Ending wasn't my favorite but it's still worth the whole experience.

Really like the series sad to see it end. Battle scene was darker than needed but had read about it so had all lites off in order to see it better but most of my favorite characters survived

4k audio and vide are very good. If all of the other seasons were available in 4k it would be easy to recommend season 8 in 4k, but since they're not, this set is more suitable for the 4k enthusiast.
