GoT is a great show in my opinion and I feel has moved far enough from the books to be considered slightly separate (worth following both). I like this set-up here because it only has the Blu-Ray discs instead of having both the Blu-Ray and DVD discs (means less clutter and never to be used items for me). I have not digitized my life completely yet, so the digital copy is just a bonus and not a necessity.

In my opinion Season 4 was the best in the series, but as the tv show aparts itself from the books as it reached a point where there is no more story, it does deliver at the last 4 episodes, including one truly magnificent one where something finally happens (no spoiler), something that had been talked about in the past but not in the books still. Great season, looking forward with the next one in a few days...

As an avid fan of the books, and the limitations of adaptation, I can only say that I am pleased with what is the last season that catches up with the novels written to date on the key plot points. I appreciate all the extra feature they continue to produce for these discs. It is a must buy for anyone following the series - whether you go beyond or not before more books come out is up to you ;-)

I have to confess that this series wasn’t even on my radar up until the last season at which point i had to see the first seasons and this one it was the same as the others great action, twists in the storylines that keep me on the edge of my seat and made me more involved for the final season

Not much I can tell you about this show you don't already know if you are reading this. Excellent, entertaining fantasy drama, and the Blurays are of the outstanding quality we expect from HBO produced shows. Outstanding picture, sound and many bonus features, including some that don't come with digital downloads or even the Ultraviolet codes that come with these very discs.

Considering the fact that I have all seasons leading up to 4, this one has to be the best. Peter D. character is great for the simple fact that you never know what he is going to say. he always seems like he is in the right place at the right time. Who knows what is gonna happen now that he is with the Dragon lady now. Smh and talk about Cliff hanger's? Forever John Snow!!

GoT still continues to rock. 5 seasons in and it still remains a stellar series. Some things do not match the book exactly, but are done to keep viewers a bit off balance. The acting and special efx remain some of the absolute best for any tv show and could easily rival any movie. I highly recommend this show. It will go down as one of the greatest when all is said and done.

I have all five season except season 1 in this type of packaging and they are all very nice. The blurays have much better quality over them being streamed but the digital copies are a great convenience. As for the show, it's fantastic. If you haven't seen you must check it out. Over the seasons there is much less "adult" material though it still has some gory violence.

The Game of Thrones Blu Ray sets are all great. This set is not an exception. All episodes are really good and entertaining. The picture and sound are superb and the set comes with digital copies, which is a big plus. I have not purchased Season 6 set yet, but I really enjoyed last season on HBO. Can't wait for Season 7 next year. Highly Highly Recommended.

If you are a GOT fan, you won't be disappointed. As for the disc quality, picture is sharp and clear. In contrast, surround sound is adequate but not on the same level as big budget movies. It is often front heavy with some back channels here and there but nothing extraordinary even though it is encoded with Atmos. Aside from this nitpick, the disc delivers.

As a fan of the show, I look forward, just prior to the new season, to purchase the previous one and re-watch the whole thing, bringing me right up to the start of the next season. The best thing about the season box set is that there are so many 'extras'. there are always a lot of behind the scenes videos and so much more . I can't wait until next season !

It's season four of HBO's Game of Thrones, and if you are reading this, then you must have seen seasons one through three. If you haven't, stop what you are doing and go watch them right now. If you have, well, then, you know exactly what you are in for, and you won't be disappointed. Well, maybe you will. It is Game of Thrones, after all. All men must die.

What can I say without spoiling the plot(s) for those that haven't caught up? In my opinion, this was one of the most intriguing and intense seasons yet. I've read all of the books to date and on a whole, this show follows the source material rather well. I love that buyers get both the physical and digital copies. It's a must own for your collection.

Working on keeping my collection up to date. Love the series but who that watches it doesn’t? What a phenomenon and what a great series. Can’t wait for the next season to see what’s in store for our characters and of course who unexpectedly gets killed off. NO one is safe!!!!! :-)

I love the books and love the show. Great twists and turns. Perfect for a lover of the fantasy genre. There's heavy cursing, so avoid if that's not your thing. There's also pointless nudity because HBO always has to add that for some reason. So avoid if that's a deal breaker as well. Otherwise, it's a truly great epic akin to Lord of the Rings, Dune, etc.

Game of Thrones is the best program on television. This season continues in that tradition. There are so many plot lines going on that it is sometimes hard to keep everything straight, but it all seems to work once you get into the rhythm of it. The only real complaint that I have is that there are only ten episodes. I am continually left want more.

Purchased this as a gift for my son whom has gotten me hooked on the series. last yr for his birthday I bought him season 6 and he wont watch it out of sequence. now that he has 5 he can bindge watch to get caught up so we can discusss this years season as it happens. Great that that best buy had it in stock and the price was good too.

We are binging on 'GOT', I purchased the first two seasons and sadly the store was closed after midnight. We had to wait for the next day to get this plus the remaining seasons. We looked for max features like the commentary overlay to the shows so we could watch the episodes a second time and gain insights. This set was just right, loving it!

Game of Thrones continues to maintain the standard of excellence that fans of the show have come to expect. The quality of the Blu-ray for season 5 is near reference material in both visual and sound quality. Some might be a little disappointed that HBO's stopped packing DVD copies of shows in with the Blu-ray sets, but that's a pretty minor complaint.

Game of Thrones is one of the best tv shows ever made. This season continues the story and does not disappoint. The blu ray quality looks amazing. For a tv show this is like movie quality. In fact the quality is better than most movies. As good as the show is, it's not suitable for children. Lots of nudity and violence. I highly recommend this show.
