The sixth season of Game of Thrones was full of action and had a few surprises.

This series is so dense with its story, that picking it up as a season release is kind of required. You need access to every episode so you can watch it as the 10 hour movie it is all at once. Political intrigue, murder, mayhem, and dragons. Everything you could want or need from a fantasy series. I cannot recommend this series enough. If you love Lord of the Rings, or Conan the Barbarian, or even the West Wing, this show is for you.

This show keeps getting better and better, one of my favorite season's.

A good show. If you start it then you kind of "need" to finish it.

Great build up to fight scenes. This series is worth collection!!

It's Game of Thrones, so it gets five stars from me. Good to see more of Arya Stark and her character progression. A co-worker told me next season is the last (I have not read the books, but heard they have fallen behind the t.v. series), but it seems to me there should be two more seasons to wrap things up. But again, if you are watching Game of Thrones the season six is a great addition to your collection.

Six seasons in and the plot remains the same. Everybody must die.

Great show that keeps you hooked. Definitely recommend this show.

Nice continuation as the core families slowly die like the ten little Indians. The writers are killing all the men and boys to make it Politically Correct. Only the women survive becoming vicious harpies. Finally the tree scene is over and the venture continues for the crippled stark. The dragons have gotten bigger, but not as big or powerful as Smaug in the Lord of the Rings but just as vicious looking.

This is Season 6, so it really needs the previous 5 seasons to make the complete story, but it's a modern classic fantasy so who's not going to watch and collect them all! If you've only heard of the series and not yet seen any - start now with Season 1. This series is not for children nor for sensitive viewers but the story is outstanding- I'm sorry that there are only 2 more shortened seasons to come

Great show and it makes a great gift for anyone who loves tv shows

"Game of Thrones," while still a great show, has suffered some lapses and downturns in the last couple of seasons. Gratefully, there are none to be found in Season Six, as the show returns to form with all the drama, action, and brutality we have come to expect. The plot is advanced nicely, and all the players and pieces on the game board are shifted neatly into place for the final two seasons.

I think this was a good setup to the final seasonfinale

Another Really good season of this show. It starts off a little slowly but by the mid of the season it really takes off . I don't have HBO so getting the blu-rays have been how i have been keeping up with the show. binged the entire season in half a weekend. Anyways has the same level of extra features that the other seasons have. look its season 6 if you like the show your going to get it.

My wife and I really enjoy Game of Thrones, but were really disappointed in the other programming available on HBO. We were spending almost $180 a year just to watch Game of Thrones and decided that having some patience and waiting for the Blu-Ray was worth saving $140 a year. So if you have the patience to wait several moths to watch the newest Game of Thrones season, this option is for you.

Been a big fan since the beginning. Can't wait to see the end

Much of this season contains story-lines that will figure in the novel The Winds of Winter that G.R.R.M is taking his own sweet time finishing [I'm not complaining George...keep typing...I'll be patient!]. Stuff from books 4 & 5 get shoehorned in here as well. A highlight episode 'The Battle of the [those without fathers]' {just keeping it clean for bestbuy.com...you know what I meant}

A great purchase fir any game of thrones fans out there

Another season finished and so many deaths!! Just what we’ve come to expect and wouldn’t have it any other way! I love, love what they are doing with Arya’s role in the series! I think we’ve seen the biggest changes in her and oh are they enjoyable to watch. She’s going to put the rest of the Stark’s to shame!!!
