I think GOT is the best show in the world. Unfortunately the first season is a little boring. But, when you get more into it, it starts to really pick up and you can't stop watching it.

Let's face it: You already know if you want this or not. It's freakin' Game of Thrones! The big question is how does the 4K set compare to the standard blu? Well, DEEP blacks, a wider color gamut & some noticeably greater detail in textures (particularly the costumes), not to mention a decent Dolby Atmos option make this a worthy purchase, particularly at this price point.

Thanks to HDR and the Atmos mix this show looks and sounds better than ever. Hard to recommend, though, since it doesn't look like they're releasing the next season. Folks who bought this are going to be burned if more individual seasons aren't released and HBO just does a big box set once the show is over.

This only the first season that we are watching,Seems everyone else has seen it. But, What an incredible cast. After it gets going,lots to follow! A little wild sex in spots and violent scenes, but it's very well written and exciting to become addicted to. (and we're only on episode 6...

I am a fan of GOT and want to buy all seasons, got this first as it was in sale for $11.99 which is amazing considering you’ll have the blu-ray and the digital copy. I’m very happy, I only put four stars because the plastic package arrived damage, other than that all is good.

I used a vizio p series 2018 and an xbox one s to watch the show and it was pretty decent. It did look a little darker than regular but the picture quality is pretty good. I know this isnt native 4k since it was filmed just in 1080p so it had to be upscaled.

I bought this to show my girlfriend this great series. Only bought this in 4k because of the price, with another $5 rewards applied, and paid less that the normal Blu Ray version. I don't think this was filmed in 4k, but the quality is still good.

The 4K looks really good, but not a huge jump from blu-Ray in my opinion. Dolby vision is what makes this version superior. The season is great and the packaging is well done. I’m hoping the other seasons get 4K versions just for the Dolby vision

While it was great to go back to the first season of GoT the quality of the 4k did not seem as good as more recent releases. Perhaps it was the quality of the original 8 years ago nevertheless I still enjoyed going back to the "beginning".

I figure I check the show out, now that it's over and all the hype died down. From what I've seen, it's pretty dang good. Can't wait for the rest of the series to come out on 4K.

Entertaining fantasy show. Lots of action, twist and turns and good acting. Packaging was great. It's a must buy if you are into dragons, sword fights and drama.

Watching GoT in 4k is a completely different experience. If you already own a 4k player and HDR capable TV you have to watch this in 4k. Very highly recommended.

Nothing out of the ordinary other than it shows more heightened color and clearer processing. I mean, thats what its suppose to do when in 4k, right?

I enjoy the HBO tv series with family. It has good characters, action, and storyline that keep me watching every week. GOT is a much series to watch.

HBO has out done themself with the beginning of this series. The story line is good, the acting is great, and the fx are not bad.

This is the first season of an exciting series involving Arthurian legend, Machiavellian drama, love, family, and friendship.

For those that would like to start from the beginning of Game of Thrones, this entire 1st Season is a great starting point.

Show is great, 4K discs look excellent. But a heads up on the included digital copies: they are only standard HD, not 4K.

My brother tells me how he can't wait for the next season to start. I decided to see what the excitement was all about.
