Great first season. Very well done. Looking forward to the seven seasons I have left to watch.

Sound improvement more apparent than video resolution, in fact couldn't discern noteworthy improvement. Seasons 2 and up are reported to be shot in higher resolution source material most benefitting 4K display resolution . I'm a big GOT fan so any improvement was welcome. Many titles advertised as 4K don't have source material that make it possible to see the full benefit of 4K resolution on top quality displays, especially if it was recorded as digital source material. There are some websites you can reference for a detailed explanation and listing of known real or fake 4K UHD discs/sources.

I am a big fantasy novel fan, although I have not read Game of Thrones, only watched season 1 of the HBO series. I think this is also the first miniseries I've ever watched. Overall rating is average. Cinematography is great. Acting is very solid. Plot keeps you interested. Entertaining enough for me to want to know what happens next, but not much more. The main problem with game of thrones, for me, is that all the characters are extremely annoying. They're all pretty dysfunctional and make stupid decisions that ends up getting themselves and/or their family/friends killed. It gets to a point where I don't really care what happens to the characters anymore. The main reason I would watch season 2 is in the hopes that some more of the characters die because they are so annoying. Aside from that I think it's a nice production and well acted. I guess they have to be good actors for me to get this worked up!

If you like fantasy series, you will love this. Complex story line and characters keep you from getting bored with it!

I had never watched this series before, but I heard a lot of good things about it from my friends. When I watched it, I was hooked!

I've had to watch these a few times, because there were times that I felt like I missed something as soon as I turned my head.

It starts out slow but it gets really good, my glycerin d and I really liked it I had been wanting to see it. I'm glad I bought it.

For the $20 it was selling for, it was an instant buy. Game of Thrones season 1 was amazing and I'm happy it released at a cheaper price!

Had season 2-6 on blu Ray. And I lost my DVD of season 1 during moving out of my old place. But it was worth it getting this

One of my favorite shows on television. Watch it every Sunday and do not miss an episode. Started buying them to even rewatch it.

Heard so much about this show and wanted to watch it but sadly don't have HBO. Picked it up when it was 19.99 and was not dissappointed.

Season 1 is one of the best seasons of game of thrones, so much drama and suspense! Definitely recommend for anyone that hasn't seen it!

Purchased for a steal while it was on sale. Best show on television and glad to own the blu-Ray despite having other copies of the show.

Love the way Best Buy price matches and this show is amazing. Bought as a gift if they need to exchange then it won't be a problem.
