VERY GRAPHIC, I wrote another review and could not send it at first. I used the words V******E and S*X these words were blocked and can not be used. This is ridiculous, how is anyone to know if it appropriate for a certain age group in there family. This movie IS NOT FOR CHILDREN it is far to graphic. IF best Buy or any store will not help with warnings than let those of us with a morals let others know. And why do I need 50 words to tell someone what I think.

If you have never followed the books and wanted to jump right in....buy this entire series. The quality of the video is outstanding. The bonus is being able to add your video to the platform of your choice (iTunes, WMA, VDUUU..whatever you choose) and being able to watch it at anytime. This is a great series, I will not throw spoilers out there...but Mannnnn, this was the best season yet.

GOT season 1 is the epic beginning to a phenomenal series with an ending that’s debated constantly. This 4K UHD GOT season looks and sounds superb as it is loaded with Dolby Vision and Atmos for those who have their home theater ready enabled with those features. Rewatching this season was a pleasure especially in 4K resolution. I highly recommend for those who love GOT.

The first season really laid down the groundwork for an amazing series! A must-watch for all fans of politics, high-stakes drama, and fantasy. the acting is superb and the production quality is unmatched. The bonus disk with extras is a great addition with backstories that will help you understand the history of this storyline.

What else to said I love this movie. The Game of Throne series.

I hesitated in this series, I watched one episode and I thought it was predictable and hard to believe, but I was a big dope watching my first episode in the middle of the series. The whole thing is unbelievable how much work went into this with such a great story. Got this for my parents. Rather than buy the whole thing I want to make sure they dive in first, for $25 it’s a steal and a great gift.

If you love fantasy and drama- this is the series for you.

We don't have HBO on our Dish and we have always heard good things about this show. Caught it on sale the day after Thanksgiving and we weren't disappointed! We have already watched all four seasons that are available on DVD and have our pre-order in for season five! It's a long time until March! There's a little bit of everything going on in this series, it's definitely not suited for kids as there are very graphic violence scenes and adult content!

7 kingdoms vie for power, wealth, and status in a brutally realistic story. Very graphic violence, very strong language, explicit and "taboo" relationships. Deceit is the norm, betrayal common, cowardice and cruelty abound, but valor and honesty shines brighter for all of it. Like life the "good guys" aren't perfect and most of the "bad guys" have some redeeming features. Intelligent script performed by an excellent cast, all being done in fantastic settings.

I'm coming to the party a little late. A co-working and I were discussing Walking Dead the morning after, and he mentioned that I would like this series and thought it was better written that WD. I decided to get all four seasons due to an incentive gift card. I really liked the 1st season and am now hooked on the series. Extremely well crafted and acted. Highly recommend this series to home theater junkies, and lovers of well crafted material.

4k quality of picture is awesome sale price was good deal

Game of Thrones is an amazing show. It leaves you wanting to watch more every episode. If you can make it through the violence and nudity the story is excellent. What you think or assume will happen, usually doesn't. Some times all of the characters and places can get confusing, but the show does a great job with helping to keep you in the loop of who is who and who has which names and nicknames. The quality of acting and cinematography are top-notch.

I love the characters, every one of them even the ones you love to hate. You get involved with the storyline immediately. Even though this takes place In a fantasy world, it is wonderful. Harkens to great storytellers like Tolkien, Robert Jordan and Mary Stewart. You are swept away into another world and don't want to leave. You can't wait for the next axe to fall or see what happens with all of the characters, young or old. I don't want it to end!

I read the books and I am a harsh judge of movies or shows that try to put my reader's imagination on film. I was never happy with True Blood; but Game of Thrones is truly incredible and so much like the way I imagined the books, that I fell right into the story and couldn't get enough! Jon Snow is much better looking that I could EVER have imagined from the book -- he also started off older in the series . . .

I shushed the room and fell right into the captivating series! I was so hungry for more and more ! I have the whole collection and would buy 100 more if available!! Yes, I'm serious! Best series ever made !! Left me shocked, sad, happy, stunned... all of the emotions ever made ran through my body!!!

Yes, the story is pretty grim, and yes, it's sometimes hard to find redeeming qualities in the characters. But a viewer who is willing to take up these challenges will be amply rewarded for the effort. This intricately plotted, sprawling fantasy is a fine example of television at its very best--a single sustained, complex story with characters whose motivations are never clear-cut, an imagined world that accurately reflects the complexity of real life.
